Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JohnL leaking at seam after 10 months from purchase
I'd like to get my money back, but HD policy does not cover past 90 days. This piece of garbage is now leaking at the weld seam mid line. Don't buy.

It wasn't what I expected. There was no opening in the top for the water to enter. To much required to set it up.

It was easy to install and the rain barrel looks great. I like that no bugs can get in and algae will not grow in there.

we expected more from the instructions... for example didn't know that we would be drilling a hole and didn't say what size bit would be needed/best -the tube going over seems to be slightly bowing in a smile due to it being packaged in a tight circle so I am nervous the weight of the water going thru will pull it down, but we will see, I am thinking we can just cut it shorter if that happens and move it closer to the drain pipe.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KB Wicker rain collector
I purchased this product to use as a catch basin for my daughters in home hair salon. Its lower design and wicker look make it visually appealing and does exactly what was required...it drains to a floor drain.Perfect for the application

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NOLABill Good, basic rain barrel!
I was looking for something that wouldn't look too garish or an obvious imitation of something it wasn't. This unit came with a great price, with a simple design and a nice, compact size (squat enough to actually fit underneath my raised home), yet with a good capacity. I installed two in series. My only (minor) gripes: the downspout adapter is white and rectangular...I have dark bronze, round downspouts, so I had to buy another adapter. But I knew that going in. And the spigots are pretty low-flowing. I suspect I'll replace them with a higher-flow valve. All-in-all, I'm quite pleased!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by fjfjfjf Wrong instructions make installation more difficult
I just received this rain collector today and installed it right before a storm. The installation instructions for this model were for the larger 60 gallon urn model which is 43 inches tall compared with this model which is 23 inches tall. A hole must be drilled into the barrel for the diverter hose. Since the instructions measure the drill point from the top of the larger model, care should be taken to correctly line up the diverter unit hole with his model before drilling the hole. Also, the instructions say to cut one inch out of the pre-existing downs spout. I had enough space between the ground and the bottom of the down spout so I was able to fit the diverter without the second cut.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gardening123 GREAT product for a small area or just to use as an End Table on your deck or porch!
Really the best solution for small areas. We have it on our patio but since the diverter included continued to overflow, clog, eventually froze and broke, we replaced it with the Basic RainReserve Diverter Kit. Now we have no overflowing water issues, no leaves or debris to clean out of the downspout and diverter!
Really LOVE that these Rescue products are MADE IN PENNSYLVANIA out of 100 percent Food-Grade Plastic and 25% of that is RECYCLED!!!
