Customer Questions & Answers

Will this blade cut pavers?

Will this blade cut pavers and brick?
Asked by: BigMac
It will cut bricks and natural stone. In fact, we had about 700 bricks cut with this blade and it did the job very well. However, RIDGID has the blade especially designed for bricks/stone/concrete.

The blade says wet and the specifications say wet or dry
Asked by: dave
Wet. Do not use this as a dry-cut blade.

what is the arbor diamater of the blade

Asked by: Walt
It says it on the blade -- zoom in on the picture for confirmation -- 5/8 inch. Important to know: a 5/8-inch arbor is the general standard for all 10-inch saws and blades sold in the USA (wood, metal, tile, etc.).

Customer Reviews

10 in. Diamond-Edge Tile Circular Saw Blade is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Take it from a contractor. Not as bad as people say. I'm trying to figure out why there are so many horrible reviews with this product. I was reluctant to buy the blade because of the reviews (and I'm not a huge fan of Rigid). Home Depot has a horrible selection of tile blades so i had to buy it due to not having time to go somewhere else to buy a name brand tile blade with a good reputation. However, I used the blade on my MK-101 saw and it cut 16" porcelain tile no problem. The blade does have some flex as do many other blades. As long as you don't force the cut and are using a decent saw, you should have no issues with the blade. I'm not sure about the life of the blade due to the fact that i didn't make a ton of cuts. The price to me is a little high for the brand. Bottom line the blade does its job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used with 10" 2.5 HP/15-amp wet saw Long-time renovator. Working with a low-end professional wet saw. After using this blade, it's difficult to understand the repeated bad reviews this product is getting. I have used this thing on 3/8" granite and PEI 5 porcelain tile. Cuts with minimal chipping and wobble, trims tile edges with minimal chipping, cuts into tile with minimum wobble, unlike what I've been reading here. The blade is fast and safe. I may have picked a winner by pure accident off the hook, but I don't think so. I have said all kinds of negative things about products sold by Home Depot when I felt the negativity was due. This blade is a great buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad I was skeptical after reading the reviews but I ordered the blade anyway because it was cheaper than Dewalt. Blade worked pretty well for me. Will buy it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great blade This blade works fine as long as its matched close to the rpm of the saw... I've been using this product for two years now and for the cost it's more than capable in handling any tile job...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice blade Bought this nice blade to use on a Harbor Freight saw. It makes really nice cuts in porcelain tile and seems like it will outlast the work I need to do with it. I would buy it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from all I buy as a mostly full time tile cutter ive used many different blades , this blade never chips my tile , ive read how it chips tile . I think thats because the saws these people are using are worn out .with a decent saw this won't happen .I get a lot of cuts around three tile jobs off of a blade these people either rush the cut or the bearings are worn on their saws , this is a very good blade and it lasts twice as long as any other ive tried

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blade Wobbles at Begining of Cut Although I am a huge Ridgid fan, Ridgid missed the ball on this one. The blade has relief cuts in it that are suppose to help with blade warping due to temperature differences (which makes no sense because we are talking about a wet blade here that should have a pretty consistent temperature throughout because of the water stream on the blade). These relief cuts make the blade extremely unstable at the beginning of the cut. The blade wobbles and flexes all over the place at the beginning of the cut. Stay away!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from glad not to let these reviews stop the purhase Sliced threw 20 inch comet stone on a pearl vx10.2 with no problem. And as good as any pro blade with a jacked up price from the floor stores. Now only used for one day but I ripped some tile for 6 hours straight on a ten year old machine and didn't see any chips. Time will tell but so far will buy again
