Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not Commercial I'm a General Contractor of 15+ years, specializing in tile, bought this saw 3 years ago to replace one of my other aging saws. It's been my main saw for the last 3 years, but now it's time for a new one, and it won't be a Ridgid. Worked great at first. Plastic valve for water diverter broke within a week. Water pressure for so-called hose to wash down tray is worthless. Pump works great for the blade, but that's it. The overall concept of the water supply under the tray is great (as opposed to most designs where water is IN tray under the table). Motor is pretty good. Tile accomodation is better than most, but arm for motor gets in the way on larger tiles. Beveling is a hassle, as the arm sticks and unseats out of true over time, horribly. Table comes out of square with the blade in short order. Table rails and wheels on table are not the greatest, so the table "bumps" at points along its travel on the slide (not totally level). Portion of table is "rubber" and bleeds carbon after a while and does NOT stay level over time, which causes larger tiles not to be flat on table and thus can crack as blade cuts it toward end of cut. The stand is great, but shaky. Portability is better than most. I load/unload easily by myself in pickup truck. Splash guards are plastic that can succumb easily to working in cold temps. Table lock broke within a year. Stand rusts rather easily. Plastic handles broke off pretty quick. Laser? I forgot it was even there. Worthless. The LED table light is nice. Overall, the saw has taken a beating and produced some great results in the three years I've worked it, but in hindsight, I probably would've been better off with a different saw. I'm getting ready to by a Lackmond to replace this one. January 20, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I expected from "the best/most expensive" wet saw sold at a HD store Well, I must say I was expecting a much better wet saw than my 10 year old one. This saw promised lots of features that are not satisfactory delivered. The water delivery components are terrible. Just as it happened to other people, the diverter valve arrived broken, days later the water inlet valve snapped off, the water pump...I thought was broken and not pumping enough water into the blade. Every cut I made on 12x12 marble tile fogged up the entire basement I was working at: I even used another pump to manually add more water to the blade. That cost me the use of an extra worker. After taking the saw outdoors and plugging it to a garden hose, it worked a lot better except the wasted gallons of water now all over the yard made it messy to work around. The angle cutting is fair on one side of the tile and the other side is a wasted, chipped edge that perhaps can't be reused. When the tile is dense or a bit harder/thicker stone, the blade raised enough to even miss the cut all the way through the tile. This also causes the tile to not be cut straight. The side trays are a nice idea and would work perfect if you didn't have to use a garden hose to supply the needed water which squirts all over the floor. The idea of a wet saw that could do all this one promises is nice, but the disappointing quality of this Ridgid product makes me feel that Ridgid did not, absolutely NOT, tested this machine before sending it out to us the consumers. I would not recommend this $ Beast to anyone wanting a worth the price tool. July 26, 2011
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Had some problems, but got the job done. Negatives: The box was missing the saw blade when I received it so I had to phone the customer service up to get a blade. I ended up purchasing another blade from Home Depot because I did want to wait for the other one to be shipped. My next problem was that I could not adjust the table so the saw cut straight. It was off by about a 1/16 of an inch for a 1 foot long cut. I just ended up shimming one side of my tiles to get an accurate cut. After that, the plastic valve switching the flow of water to either the blade or the little cleaning hose broke. I had the phone the service number again to get a new valve sent. In the mean time, I took out the valve and used duct tape to hold the hoses together. I also feel that the flow of water the blade should have been a stronger too. Positives: The motor was strong and I had no problems cutting through 1 5/8” basalt tiles and 1" thick rock veneer. September 6, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Simply the best.....not like all the rest! I have been in the tile business for 27 years. I have used just about every wet saw they have ever made. During all that time I had alot of complaints about all of them. I have spent the last 27 years saying to myself "why cant they just invent a wet saw that does this and doesnt have this stupid engineering flaw...." Now it appears that Rigid was reading my mind. This saw does everything I thought was a "no brainer" that all the other saws lacked. It appears that Rigid has done what all other tile saw makers just had never figured out.....get a few old tile guys like me to give them their input! Finally finally finally!!! If I could give this saw more than 5 Stars I would....but then again its in a class by itself. April 22, 2010

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this saw I love this saw it works great and cuts through the thick granite pieces with no bogging down from the saw. April 10, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed with saw, Happy with Home Depot Service Purchased the saw to make diagonal cuts on 20" tile. Saw will not follow a line at the outer position. All the nice features, 45 degree cuts etc. add to the torque placed on the arm and the arm is not ridgid enough in the outer position, pulls the tile across the blade. Too bad, saw works okay in the inner positions. Same problem as other reviewers with the water valve and water delivery. Cleared water delivery ports with a drill bit. Purchased a Ridgid chop saw at the same time, much better quality. November 18, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great saw with issues I am a tile contractor in south Florida for 22 years, We set a lot of tile, marble, granite. The design of the saw was amazing all the little detail right down to cleaning the tray after heavy use. All the adjustments you can think of or need in a tile saw. BUT... Some issues. the water diverters are poor quality. Need to be replaced. And the water pump does not supply enough water to the blade. The tray which holds the tile through the cutting process is not flat. The transition from rubber tray to the metal tray is un even. Which causes the tile to move as it is being cut, or an edge to break off as it goes through the cutting process. If they get these small annoying issues out of the way I think this will be the best designed wet saw to date. I have used a Target Wet Saw for 21 years. Very reliable very heavy. May 23, 2011
