I bought this cable to plug in the block heater on my diesel truck, which with 12/3 cables would pop the breaker. I am very pleased so far with the performance of the cord, it stays flexible in the 20 degree weather and snow we've been having. Great peace of mind having a heavy gauge cord around when pulling high amps like that. The color of the cable is great also, very few of these brand cords in my area, so I know which cable is mine if it gets 'borrowed'!
It is very heavy to move around as well, but it's not like you're taking it on a hike with you. The pricing could be a bit better, but for something this big and of this quality it is worth spending a few extra bucks on!

I own Three of these, very high quality, worth every penny of the extra $$$ and will last a very long time. Lighted outlets seems like a gimick but is, in fact, super useful. Especially when you have more than one cord deployed. Do not hesitate.

I needed a 100ft. super heavy duty extension cord and considered buying the wire & connectors to make it myself. (Electrician) But this product made me decide against that. The price could have been better, but it was low enough for the great quality and immediate convenience.

I was extremely happy with the flexibility of this cord, and its ability to take a beating outdoors. I use it for virtually every outdoor project, and it hasn't bowed, cracked, split or torn.

Got the 100ft for my welder and it works great! Seems to be very durable and is pretty flexible.

I had a friend get me one last summer... With my serious hobbies of water ponding and greenhouse growing, I often need to route power for short term use around my 1/3 acre yard. A very long time ago I used to do trade shows and learned about heating up wiring, and learned to go 'heavy' -- a lot say 'overkill' for that reason. At 100' some things can blow a circuit breaker with 12/3, I own a few pumps and some greenhouse electric heaters (10 to 12.5 amps hooked solo to a 15 amp circuit) that are notorious for that, with the 10/3 I can even run a compound miter saw at the project site in that corner and not worry about popping the 20 amp breaker. Of course, I also have everything GFCI and have tripped those a few times too, Be Safe and Use GFCI! Right now I wish I had two more of these cords. They are 'heavy' compared to the typical extension cord, but I usually make a 3' long loop coil and put it over my shoulder to haul around and pay out. We don't get seriously artic type cold but I've not had problems with flexibility even in snow. A good cord is just another tool, and investing in a good one is worth it. (and yes I have lots of friends with 'cord envy' ) If you find your collection has a lot of 100' 12/3 cords, get a 10/3, you will find out you will use it more than you think.

Nice cord for peak juice. Heavy to move but supplies needed amps to high draw power tools.
