Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 53 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Miter Saw! I have used many Miter saws, This is my first Miter saw that i have purchased. Its not to heavy to bring from job to job and the laser light works great after you adjust it to where you know where its going to cut. I setup my own support on each side with a 2x4 on its side. works great as well. I also have a rigid vacuum that i have hooked up to it when I'm cutting a lot. March 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT SAW Ive had this saw for 5+years!!! Not A problem with it what so ever. Cut many many feet of hardwood trim , Vinyl siding, pvc pipe. 2x4's , you name it!!!! Square up the blade when you first set this saw up and use the miter gage and every cut dead on. This thing takes a lot of abuse and keeps going. I would buy another one in a heart beat if I had to +++++ January 30, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by You get what you pay for Now that I have your attention...I read reviews before I make a purchase such as this and can understand where some are coming from. This was a though-out purchase and didn't want to spend a lot of money as I'm an occasional user that does some of my own house work; not in the industry. Now that I'm working on a newly purchased foreclosed home that needs major updates it is getting much more use. This may work for those that do this for a living but I'm not sure of the longevity of it. The only gripe is that I'm still working on trying to tune the laser; otherwise this has plenty of power to cut and am so far very pleased with its performance. December 3, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than expected I have always believed you get what you pay for. There were several saws that had great reviews but hundreds of $$ more. I was on a tight budget and thought I would give it a try. The cost doesn't apply here on this saw. For less than $200, I am seeing the same kind of quality of the $400 saws. Install a tongue and grove ceiling and the cuts matched perfectly right from the box. Light weight and extremely tough for hard jobs. May 26, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by right side bevel 45 and 48 doesn't work!!! The right 45 and 48 degree bevels don't work. The saw motor hits the fence that is attached to the base plate. It won't allow you to go all the way thru with your cut. Even with the tall fence removed the plastic motor housing hits the lower fence. I returned the saw. The floor display model did the same thing!! I am assuming this is a design flaw in the saw. Your paying for a double bevel saw but can't use the right side bevels. Please note that another reviewer had this same issue. April 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I just bought this saw,and was totally amazed!Right out of the box it was percisely acurate!I read the instructions, and checked All of the adjustments, and the people at rigid sent it out right on the money!I tried to repeat a cut 6 times, and with in a minute was done, and I couldn't figure out which was the first!I have owne3d the cheaper saws, and they shook upon starting them, but the rigid saw started smooth, and cut Exactly on the laser line, which when installed, never had to be touched again!I would highly recommend this to anyone, and for the xtra money, was well worth it,and know it will OUT last the other saws!I rate this saw a 10! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect tool for your collection I love this quality tool and I can see why there is a life-time warranty. I worked this Miter Saw hard with Crown Molding and Floor Molding cuts and it is accurate, durable, reliable and delivers exactly what Ridgid promises. I love Ridgid tools!!! September 24, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rigid 10" Miter Saw The saw works very well, and the laser is a great aid, once you get it set properly. The directions are poorly written, and be prepared for some frustration when setting up this saw. For example, instrucions are given for an item, but the pictorial does not show the part that is being discussed, and you will have to peruse the instruction booklet to find the part that is being referred to. Also, a page is referred to in the booklet that has nothing to do with the item being discussed, so you will have to figure out the correct page. Would give this saw 5 stars but for the instructions. Not easy for the layman to work with. Almost took it back. So, if you don't mind the set up frustration, it is a good saw. October 31, 2010
