For the money, you just can't get a better saw. I paid $110 on sale and I passed up a Makita and a DeWalt to try this one out. I don't regret it a bit. Blade adjustment couldn't be easier, the base is heavy duty with a thick edge for running down a rip guide and the kirf marks in the base are dead on. I was cutting very wet decking and she never slowed down. The 15amp motor handle the biggest jobs and that 12' power cord can't be beat. I had myself convinced I needed a $200 saw to get good results but this thing rocks! Registered it for the lifetime service so I'll never have to buy another saw again.

I enthusiastically echo the superlatives expressed by the other reviewers. This Ridgid product is so good; so well made and thought out it is hardly believable it can be in the same price class as some of the pedestrian competing models it is being compared to; Milwaukee, Dewalt, Skil, Ryobi etc. The design for 'useability' is what I like most. It is such a pleasure to use and makes the job go so quickly I find myself looking for more reasons to use it. All saws cut wood. Not many make it a joy to do so.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Skakidalex Reliable, good priced saw.
for an every day saw I find it to be highly reliable. I really enjoy the little features they've added; like the light on the cord. the saw seems to be of solid construction, and has not let me down with it's preformance.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dave GOOD SAW, EXCEPT FOR PRECISION CUTTING
This saw is well made and has a strong motor with a hefty, sturdy build.
The problem lies in the base of the saw. The edges of the base are not square and cause the saw to walk around when using a cutting guide. The stamping process is faulty on the base metal piece. I had to return mine and attempted to buy another, however, after opening two other boxes, I found that both had the same problems of the base not being flat and square.
I would look elsewhere if doing finishing work. I actually had to buy the worm gear Rigid saw to find one that had square, true edges for use with a cutting guide.

Great saw. Powerful and accurate. Even included a hex key to remove the blade and a place to store it. They seemed to have thought of everything, but...
I needed to rip a couple pieces of 5/4 lumber. I went back to H.D. to purchase a rip fence. Imagine my surprise when I went to install it on the saw and found there was no hold down knob provided. I contacted Ridgid and was told it is an option and I would have to order one from them. Fine. I place the order for an .83 cent part that cost $6.00 to ship. Seriously!!! Other manufactures provide this with the saw. It may seem like a small thing but it's the little thing that can sometimes be the most irritating. That's why I only gave it 4 stars

I bought this saw for my husband's birthday. It's easy to use, compact, and a great overall saw. Highly recommend.

Model 3205 is IMPROVED (over 32022, being discontinued)
IT CUTS DEEPER, has STEEPER BEVEL, smooth deck doesn't gather lodged debris, has spindle lock and has numerous ergonomic tweeking on its much venerated older sibling. (See side by side spec comparison here abouts). I've read many rave reviews for both these $99 siblings-- near indestructanle, out lived several more expensive name brands, quieter, surprisingly manageable compared to most other professional 15 amp saws. I'm looking forward to getting even better acquainted with this promisingly tweaked 3205 model. (Sold my equipment when I retired. This'll help ease a few regrets on that :)
