Answer:
There are multiple bags for the various vac sizes. For the WD1851 you're looking for Model# VF3502. This works as a pre-filter to help extend the life of the actual filter. Works great. Don't use it while wet vacuuming.

I also used it to suck lead paint chips, but I was wearing the appropriate respiration mask too. It is also recommended by me to get the 5-layer HEPA allergen filter, which is a bit expensive, but worth it if you have allergies like I do, and it ensures that the air coming out the exhaust is clean without a noticeable loss in suction. I use the included filter in the garage/basement and the HEPA filter in the house. You get two vacuum bags per package, and they're usually in stock at the store, and always in stock on the web site. Yes. I get them in-store where they are usually in stock. They even have HEPA filter-bags for this, but they are a bit more costly. I use those when collecting dust from sanding my little woodworking projects and they really help.

I don't know in terms of decibels, but if you're asking about the 16 gal. Rigid canister vac, it is surprisingly quiet if you use the included attachment that snaps into the exhaust port. It is much, much quieter than the typical household upright vacuum, and yet very much more powerful.

I have not measured the sound level with a decibel meter empirically, but can tell you that one main reason I bought it is because it is MUCH quieter than previous generic "shop-vacs" I have owned. When I first saw it used in a restaurant, my friends and I noticed we could still carry on conversations and hear the background music when it was running. It makes less noise than our regular home vacuum, which is touted as a quiet machine in TV commercials.
These are all subjective references, not empirical tests. But I know this; when I attach it to my table-saw for dust collection, I cannot hear it when the table-saw is running. The same is true for all my routers and the thickness planer. The planer I have has a helical head, so it is very quiet compared to other shop tools. yet I still cannot hear this vacuum when the other tools are on. Read Less

Honestly, this vac is pretty noisy. This is not a vacuum that is made for comfort, this is a shop vac and it's made to work...hard. The 5 HP motor in this vacuum has the power to suck up big bolts off the floor and there is no deadening material between the motor, the casing and the bin. It's as gloriously noisy as it should be.

Answer:
Yes, there are little holders that store the extension wand parts to the left and right of the tank, between the rear of the wheels and the tank itself. They hold somewhat well and make the vac able to carry everything at once. They don't fall off while I roll the thing around, even up and down steps.

Yes. Wands are stored on the cart-chassis by means of molded extrusions. They just stick on and pull off. Small attachments are carried in the little cloth bag that is velcro-ed to the handle.
There is a convenient power-cord storage feature. The cord wraps around the top handle.
Personally, I think the cloth bag and hose storage could be improved, but they are OK as is.

There is a hanging bag for the handle, but I prefer to just store the wands elsewhere. You'll find that this vacuum is so rugged that the wants just get in the way when stored on the vacuum itself. I'll sometimes tuck one into the handle, but for the most part I leave them on the shelf.

16 Gal. 6.5-Peak HP Wet Dry Vac is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 516.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from quietly sucks!! This is the quietest shop vac I have ever owned or used. It's also one of the, if not the most powerful shop vacs I've used. I can hold a conversation over it while cleaning the garage and not think twice. As far as the wheel axle caps, they're the same thing that many manufacturers use to hold wheels on, and work quite effectively. Pro tip: Thread the axle, put both wheels on, press both caps on until they stick, lay the vacuum drum on it's side and use a hammer to tap the caps on. Doing so will seat both caps, but turn the vacuum 180 and tap the other cap. Done and done. Takes 30 seconds. I couldn't be happier with this vacuum.

I needed a shop vac for a dedicated dry only vac for a table saw and other misc items. This was purchased on the recent black Friday special for around $100 which was a huge plus. The only assembly issue was getting those wheel stops hammered on, which was a pain. Other than that it was mostly unpacking and using. I made a dust separator out of a Home Depot bucket and some 1 1/2" PVC items, I have the 7' included hose attached to one side and a previously purchased 20' hose on the other, plus around 4' of attachments equals over 30' of length and the suction is great. It will be a couple of days before it is attached and running with the table saw and we'll see how it does. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but with design flaw I call it "Mightyvac". Pros: Suction power, mobility via cart/wheels, easy assembly, included filter is great, overall excellent package Cons: Storage issues: Without modifying, you can store either the extensions or the hose, not both. This should be fixed asap. While the basic set of attachments fit in the included storage bag, any additional attachments will not. Storage bag should be larger to accommodate system growth. Copious use of plastics. Overall, thumbs up. Can't yet comment on durability.
Date published: 2016-07-22
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does a good job Great suction. This unit is not exactly compact but does a great job sucking up everything that's not nailed down. Nice set of accessories - just missing a brush head which we bought separately. The included accessory pouch is handy as is the ability to easily wrap the cord on the power unit. The only negative is that there is no place to securely store and secure the hose along with the extension tubes. So it flops around a bit when moving the unit.

I like the Heavy Duty quality of the unit and accessories. I have been surprised by the blower function and it's usefulness at removing sawdust from my work table after cutting wood. I have not used it for any wet conditions yet but I'm sure it will do fine if ever used for that. The unit is big, but when you buy a vacuum with a built in dolly, you should expect it to take up some space.
Date published: 2016-12-20
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great wet/dry vacuum Nice and quiet wet/dry vacuum. Has cleaned concrete dust off of new sanded floor. Removes debris with one pass off of dirty car interior. Only issue is the rigid suction tubes, do not lock together well. The current design has them press fit. The moment you move them, the fittings decouple, requiring reassembly. Well look at modifying them to accept a slotted partial twist off of a screw.
