Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dahitman9mm I love this nailer! Nice and light weight and durable.
Used this nailer when remodeling a house we just purchased. I absolutely love it. Its super light weight and doesn't leave any marks in the wood like my other nailer does. It work flawlessly with 1 1/4", 2", and 2 1/2" nails. Defenitly a great buy!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brandon Light nailer, avoid Porter Cable nails
I purchased the first nailer and it made it halfway through my first day before starting to pancake the nails and/or shoot them halfway in and get jammed in the gun. I checked the pressure, oiled the front where it shoots the nails out and it continued to do it.
Exchanged for a new one and ended up having the same problem. Contacted Ridgid customer support (who were quickly available) and they said that Porter Cable brand nails have been showing problems because they started to manufacture the nail heads slightly smaller, which made sense because it appeared that the nail heads were getting bent over inside the gun. Purchased Hitachi nails and its worked great ever since.

Purchased this nail gun because my 15 year old angled Bostich blew a seal while installing new brick molding and storm door. I decided on this product because of the price but more importantly I've been using rigid power tools for awhile with no issues. I decide to forego the angle nail gun and try the straight nailer. This gun worked great, took it home loaded the 2 inch nails that came with it and finished an hour later. For me, the straight design was easier to handle and align with the target. The angle may give you more nails but I would recommend the straight. Can't provide any details for longevity but I'm a home owner with contractor skills and I don't have to worry about using it everyday.

Took it out of the box, loaded the nails, hooked up the airline and went to work.
Gun ate a box of nails and never hiccup'd once.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handyman self explained of its use
The nailer is very easy to use. Directions could explain how to use all of features a little better but I was able to figure them out. It did not explain how to load nails but it was easy to figure out. I have built several sign holders with it and it works great. It does exactly what I wanted and needed. For me I would say it is a great value and I would recommend it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RodsNRails Light, Powerful, Horrible safety tip
First time using 16ga.I stick to mostly Ridged and Hitachi. I have no complaints with the tools functionality, the only design feature I can't stand is the huge nose on the safety. Even with the rubber guard off it can be very difficult to tell where the nail will be dispensed. I need very accurate shots at times and I just have to be very careful. Great nailer.
