I am very happy with the exchange program that Ridged Power Tools has ongoing.
Your staff was very helpful in exchanging my air filter machine. Thank you for all your help, thoughtfulness, and customer care.

I bought this to dry carpets quickly after using a steam cleaner. It works well and it's surprisingly quiet. It takes about an hour to dry a room instead of the 24 hours or so with a regular standing fan. Overall this was a good purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BillyJ It'll blow you away
I had one of those unexpected leaks at my house - the one you get when you are 50-miles away. I was told it had stopped, but water was all over the basement floor. Although they put a small fan on the floor, I knew I needed something better. I looked around for a blower, but all of them were around the $800 - $1000 price range. I was skeptical when I saw this one at Home Depot. Not a huge fan of Ridgid (equate it with cheap), I decided it was better then a $20 oscillating fan.
I was blown away (pun intended) by the power this has. I let it run for about 40-minutes and had a completely dry floor. Having a 3-speed control, I kept it on medium and had more then enough power to move air.
The benefits to having one of these are clear:
- long cord (that is a huge issue especially when you forget your extension cord)
- it's on rollers with a handle that extends
- three speed (don't always need to be on high)
- somewhat quiet
- it is actually rugged.
I would definitely suggest anyone in the building trade pick up one of these and keep it on the truck "just in case." It's at an affordable price and gets the job done. I might only need it once in a while, but I would rather have it and not use it, then need it and not have it. I would give it an excellent on quality, but it's too early to tell.
