Answer:
If your impact driver is designed for lithium ion batteries then this will work just fine for you. You can use any size Ridgid Lithium ion battery from 1.5 Ah up to 5.0 Ah but keep in mind that you will get a much longer run time out of a bigger battery vs a smaller one.

Answer:
Hi Barbie01, if you bought a compact impact, yes this is the correct battery. This battery will fit all Ridgid 18 volt cordless tools and chargers.
Also this is the newer version, with it's 2.0Amp/hour verses the older 1.5 Amp/hour.
You can also purchase a 3.0Amp/hour or a 4.0 Amp/hour Ridgid battery and it will work with your impact.

Answer:
RIDGID 18V Lithium Ion batteries require their correct charger. They cannot be charged with the older NiCad battery chargers. You would need a newer charger for this type of battery.
Thank you

Answer:
No, you only get the lifetime service agreement with batteries that come with a tool, charger etc. When you buy the individual batteries you do get a warranty though. I believe it is a one year warranty.

Answer:
Carson, most likely as with all electrical equipment, warranty of batteries is limited if at all. The electrical cycles of discharging and charging does take its toll on both the battery and its associated electrical components. The best way to get an answer is to email Rigid themselves, to their credit they do get back to any questions posed to them quite quickly

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very short lifespan and difficult to replace battery with lsa. Died after only a few months of light use. It is a very tedious process to get a replacement and almost not worth bothering with. June 27, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good battery This battery is very good. The charge lasts for long periods of time. Battery is durable and rugged. I like the charge indicator on it as well. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great battery I bought this to replace two completely dead batteries that I had. I charged this one and it went several days, with my limited use, before needing to be charged again. I would definitely buy another of these if my usage warrants it! May 9, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pricey Great product just alittle pricey. Overall performance is good. April 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Battery Great battery still have my original batteries but needed one more since I'm really busy with several projects. April 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Power doesn't last Take it from someone who uses it consistently and not a homer. These won't last on a job site. I have gone through two that crapped out completely and the three that I still have I have issues with. As an electrician, it works great in a drill to go through studs. I recently renovated a home and my father in laws ryobi batteries lasted longer and I was embarrassed. In the saws-all, I couldn't cut through one cast iron pipe and the circular saw couldn't cut tone piece of 7/16 osb before dying out because of overheating. Not the tool, the battery. I had to put them into the freezer to get them cool enough to work. But a more reliable tool brand or the bigger battery. Bottom line July 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hopefully this one will last longer than the last 4 that I bought. I bought a Rigid power tool set that included a drill, flashlight, saw-all and circ saw. Love the tools but the batteries last for about 20 charges only. I always attempt to return them due to poor quality, but am denied. I argue with the manager and tell him that they should stand behind their products but they always tell me to "talk to corporate..." So, like a sucker, I buy another battery for a project and then just write it off. When I get a little more cash, I'll go buy a Stil set or DeWalt or something higher quality. Rigid is junk. January 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice upgrade This battery works perfectly and is a nice improvement over the one it replaces. June 23, 2015
