Got this set on sale for $140. Used for first small project - raised bed planter. Pilot holes with drill, driver to put deck screws into 2x6s. Happy with power, performance, features. Never had a driver before and see now why you don't want to use a drill for everything. Seems to kill battery pretty fast. Hopefully I only need to do small jobs with this, or if I end up using more I'll get a 2nd battery, hopefully higher capacity, so I can leave one in each tool and not have to swap. That said, swapping is fast and easy. Really like keyless chuck on drill.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tooluser Great tools; terrible batteries
I bought these tools when an old Dewalt 14.4 Nicad battery died in the middle of a project. I had bought the Makita set earlier for work, and I assumed buying a 18v Li-ion drill set from any major manufacturer would be similar. I love the Makita set I have at work. The Rigid tools were great. I initially had only one minor complaint. The Makita set has a delay on the 'trigger light' that illuminates the work piece. The light on the Rigid drill shuts off as soon as the trigger is released. Pretty minor, and that was the only complaint I had. However, both batteries failed after about a year, and the second battery failed in the middle of a project. I finished up that project with my trusty old Dewalt 14.4 drill that has lasted over 10 years. My Makita sets are both still going strong on the original batteries. I was so happy with the original set that I bought another.
Bottom line, the batteries are junk. Save yourself the head ache and get a Makita.

I'v had the Drill for a year 18 v with the Lithium Battery
I use a pocket hole jig all the time and after a year the both the batteries are shot. A lithum battery runs to the end and just stops Yes you can trade for a new charged battery but its back and forth. The dril its self has plenty of guts and the clutch feacher works good. It needs a bigger battery pack . TS

The drill's are ok. I bought the whole kit a few years ago. The drill's are holding up ok. The batteries do not. I've lost count on replacements. The last battery took 2 months to get a new one. I'm looking at other drills to replace rigid.
please look at other drills.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Depotlover Great Value
This was bought as a gift. He was thrilled with the product and the fact that it has a lifetime warranty. The light on the product is the only downfall. It works with the trigger so if your working on a tedious project it would be nice to be able to aim and have constant light. Is that impossible?
Overall it's a great product at a terrific price.

Best drill I have ever had! The torque of the impact driver is amazing. I purchased the first set for $179 then bought a send set off a daily special for $140. A GREAT value with two batteries and lifetime warranty, that includes the batteries. I just wish that the other tools came with a battery
