Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by eaaflyer A lot of hose for the price
I was looking for a long hose to replace the worn out one on my stationary shop vac with cyclone dust separator . This 20 ft hose fit the bill perfectly, it allows me to reach most all of my garage shop with ease. Even though it is 20 ft long, I still seem to get good suction at the end. It comes with three different hose ends to help it work with different vac systems. As it turned out one hose end was just right for my application. As with all hoses of this style and construction it takes a little extra care not to kink or crush it.
How ever It is a good long, medium grade hose at very reasonable price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gabe in Toronto A must buy!
Recently purchased, as I believe it would be an excellent add-on to the Wet/dry vac WD1481 I purchased at the same time. Unfortunately, one of three adapters in the box was missing, a not so serious packaging error. Instead of taking the box to the store, which I could have done very easily, I decide to write to the Ridgid Company and see if they can send me the missing part to complete the set. It was a pleasant surprise when I received a quick response from Lance in Customer Service who promised to do something even though the item is not stocked as a single item but as part of a package. Not only did Lance call and leave a message promising to resolve the matter but he confirmed via email as well. I could tell, listening to his message, that he genuinely intended to make the set whole whatever it took. Well, he delivered, as UPS just delivered the item a couple of days ago. Thanks Lance and Ridgid!

This hose makes it possible to clean the gutters easily. Our smaller size hose plugs up with all the pine needles. This one even sucks up small pinecones with ease.

Put shop vac on switch under workbench for easy turn on/off. Connected shop vac to cyclone dust collector under bench. Connected long hose to cyclone. Now I have a "Central Vac" with long hose and can clean up shop without dragging shop vac out and all the dust/cuttings go into the cyclone and not the shop vac. Put bags in shop vac to catch all the fine dust and only have to change once in awhile and saves on filters.

A Do-It-Yourselfer trying to rehab a house on a budget. I really needed a low cost tile removal system that didn't fill the house with dust. I went all over the net checking companies, rental equipment, and Do-It-Yourselfers U-Tube videos. This system was all Of-the-Shelf products. The one problem was the amount of material removed(concrete, paint, joint compound, and dirt) clogged the filter of the ShopVac in minutes and went into the house. The final part for my system was Home Depots 2.5" X 20' Universal Vacuum Hose to run the debris outside to a canvas bag. The length of the hose plus a large diameter and different joiners was perfect. You can go outside through doors or windows in almost any room and I didn't even remove furniture. The Dewalt grinder, diamond wheel and ShopVac are also available at Home Depot. The shroud is from the Amazon Online.

Be sure of the size of the hose connection prior to purchase. Also, since there are no instructions, be aware that once you slide on the connector there is no going back unless you take it back to the store as I did. The hose does not slide on and off the several connectors that are included. Once it is connected it is forever. Lay it out and be sure of how you want the hose set up first.
