Customer Reviews

30 Amp 10/4 Adapter Cord is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't do better piecing things together I have a generator with a 30 amp connector, but got a good deal on a cord with a 20 amp male plug (L14-20). The cord I got has 4 120V standard outlets on the other end and I thought of just cutting off it's plug and getting a 30 amp plug, but that would have only been a couple bucks less than this entire assembly. I haven't used this in an outage yet, but having the breaker & switch on this is good not only for overdraw protection, but if I ran out of gas and didn't unplug things on the cord, I can turn off the switch (to disconnect all loads there at the gen), restart the gen, then reconnect them easily. The cable used has "10 awg" inprinted on it, so they didn't go cheap (even if they'll only have 20 amp draw max with the breaker included). So I can't see anything I don't like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This DOES NOT have a 16 amp breaker Read the review from the person who said that he broke this cord apart and found a 16 amp Chinese breaker. I was concerned about this, so I broke mine apart to find out. It has a 20 amp breaker just as listed in the description. I don't know if Ridgid has changed this or if the guy is just out to discredit the product, but mine has the proper breaker. Now I must put the thing back together properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 30 Amp Adapter works as it should The price on this adapter was very reasonable, and it got the job done as it should. Building quality seems up to snuff, and I have no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good buy I use with a MEP generator. It only has one 15 amp convenience outlet on it. I am able to use this adapter to run more electrical devices. I bought two.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 16 Amp breaker Unit kept tripping running 4500W of quartz lights. Popped it open to find out the internal circuit breaker is a 16A chinese one. Ended up having to make my own cord with a 2 space circuit breaker panel.
