The saw blade got hot with the short cuts I made in the aluminum trim. This resulted in melting/tearing of the edges, requiring filing every cut. It was faster than making the cuts by hand though.

Pictures speak volumes. Here is a picture of the cut with this Ridgid saw blade and a picture of a cut using the Skil blade.

I bought a QEP blade first. When I started using it I noticed my saw was strugling to cut anything. Afterfurtherinspection I realized the bladewas flexing. It was impossible to get a straight cut. I wasted a lot of time and material with that blade. The rigid blade is far superior. HD should put that blade next to the saws at the store.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by upayme this blade is bad for porcelain
I purchased a ridgid tile saw. model 4020 and it came with a 7" diamond blade. saw and blade were fantastic. ive since wore it down and attempted to replace the blade. I purchased this one from my local Home Depot and its terrible. Cutting 3/8 porcelain tile and was chipping during the first cuts through the middle even and chunking at the end. The blade is much thicker than the oem blade. upon further research the replacement blade is 90 bucks. I will give the in store next step up in Ridgid blade a chance. It's thinner than this one. Hard to swallow 90 more dollars for a blade. thats half the price of the whole saw with stand I paid.
Story short. stay away from this blade for tile work.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tim Expensive for short time use
The center piece in the blade came loose and made the blade of no use after only a few cuts. Very disappointing.
