Had to tile the tub surround and floors with this blade and it did an OK job. Cut the same from the first to last cut which is a plus. There was chipping but it was porcelain tile and after grouting all the flaws were pretty much covered up. Overall I think it was good enough; I'm not a professional and for $30 I didnt expect professional results with the cut.

The saw blade that came with my wet tile saw lasted 10 times longer than this one! While not a professional tile installer, I have done numerous tile projects both at home and helping friends, and never ran into problems with a saw blade until using this one.
My first indication of a problem was after about 30 or so cuts, I noticed that my cuts were no longer straight on some 18x18 ceramic tile. I had tried everything to adjust my saw, but everything was square to the blade and aligned when I started (always good to check before starting a project). So I took a closer look at the blade while cutting through the tile, and I noticed it would bend slightly and actually push the tile away from the blade. Then when cutting just 5 inch sections of porcelain tile, I noticed it to start chipping more frequently and actually breaking almost 1/4 inch off the trailing edge of the tile.
Went through half a dozen or so more cuts (on scrap tile at least) trying various methods to avoid the chips and breaks (set up a tile jig with some clamps to keep the tile in place on both sides of the blade, put some soft rubber matting underneath to reduce vibration, I even tried buffing and etching the blade itself to rough it up, and also in case any of the ceramic/porcelain material had 'gummed up' the blade too...you name it...but to no avail. Turns out, there is no real cure for a dull blade, except to go get a new one.
For very small projects where blade life is not an issue, maybe this is for you. I won't be buying another Rigid blade again though.
Oh, based on some other reviewers comments, I too, was a bit concerned about the design of the blade to install it on the blade shaft. Had to fit it over a little brass ring in order to keep it from wobbling on the saw. I guess this design is to make the blade more universal to fit most tile saws, but you would think there would be a better way to do that. Once I got it installed correctly and torqued down the carriage bolt to hold the blade in, everything worked fine.

Purchased it for wet saw and it took forever to get the blade on saw. Little brass ring in center kept falling out. If you look closely at the picture, you can see the cheap little brass ring barely touches the blade and the center part that fits on shaft was too tight to slip on shaft. Yes, bluffed up shaft with emery cloth, still caused it push out of blade. Have purchased other blades and they all slip right on with no problem. Finally tapped it and blade on at same time because I didn't want to drive 25 miles one way to return it. I use to trust Rigid products,: but, their stuff is no longer worth the extra $$.

Bought this product to wet cut ceramic tiles which were 12x12 in and 1/4 in thick. It made beautiful cuts the first 8 passes and then it began to get dull, after total of 14 cuts, it become completely dull.

I bought this blade after trying a different blade to cut porcelain tile. I wasn't too sure how well it would do, but it did fantastic with minimal chipping to the tile.

The brass ring in the center of the blade kept popping out. It was a waste of time fiddling with this blade. I took it back and purchased a different (non-Rigid brand) blade.
