Does this blade work in a 7 1/4" circular saw?

I am curious as to whether this blade works in a 7 1/4" circular saw, or if it is meant to be used in some other power tool?

Yes. I used with a 7 1/4 worm-drive circular saw.

Will this blade cut a circle in granite?

Example: I have looked at the manual and can't figure out what I did wrong.
Asked by: Scott
Depends on radius. More than likely the answer to your question is no. For tight radius and/or circles (say less than 5 feet in diameter), you'll want a curved blade. Alpha makes a curved blade 5" and a saw. Look on Amazon. Goes about 1 3/4 inches deep. Good saw. Set you back about $250.00 if I remember correctly.

Tried another blade that cost about 14 bucks and it didn't work -- not at all -- took 4 times longer and it felt like it was going to burn up my worm drive saw. Used this blade and it worked. Cut through about 120 LF of 2 1/4 inch stone without problem. If you're cutting hard stone or deep cuts, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money -- you get what you pay for with this blade. Costs twice as much but it's the right tool for the job (if you're cutting hard stone/concrete, or making deep cuts). Was able to also cut big radius with this blade -- about an 18' radius. Tight radius was less successful, but there's no 7" blades I've been about to find for cutting curves.

This blade was used to cut 5/8 thick marble tiles and did so without any issues. It is not for standard tiles but for pavers and thick natural stone tiles. I wish I had this blade when I was cutting 1/2 inch Travertine tiles for the walk in shower I built.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Blade Worth every penny. Im new to all this so i started with a simple remodeling project, my half bath. I decided to use 12"x12" marble tile for the floor. I didn't buy a fancy wet table saw so the blade that came with it was janky and cheap. I took forever to cut through the tile. I cut 2 tiles and decided I need a better blade. Did some research and found this one. Cuts great and saves you a lot of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent blade peformance. 7 in. Diamond Stone Blade for Cutting Granite was excellent. Made a very clean cut through my 1.25 inch granite with one pass. very aggressive and I did not need to go to several shallow passes as was suggested to me to cut my granite slab. Very Durable . This is the first time I ever cut granite and I did not know what to expect. This blade is beyond my expectations.
