I prefer this one to the 10" one because the blade doesn't wobble as much. its very solid and sturdy and super light and portable. I've used full sized saws and I'd put this against them any day. it makes very clean cuts. it even cuts glass tile with very little chipping.

I tightened the top knob and it broke the knuckle mount. The lifetime warranty is very complex and rigid (no pun intended) It's nearly impossible to get it fixed without paying for the part. Be aware and avoid Ridgid if you want it to last and be supported. Don't be fooled by their "Lifetime Warranty"

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by rukazy a decent tile saw
really easy to put together but like others have stated with long tile pieces the saw doesnt track a straight line. followed the instructions but there was just not enough adjustment. one of my hobbies is woodworking so i know how to adjust a table saw. there is a simple fix. i added a custom washer (i think .030 thick, i forgot) made form stainless shim stock under the forward mount bolt on the side of the mount arm (horizontal bolts). the shim goes between the rail and the saw arm to change the angle of the blade with the table.
Additionally, i needed to add a washer under the laser adjustment bolt because the factory overtorqued the screw and left a screw head impression in the plastic laser mount. the laser always moved to the same spot slipping into the impression.
then i adjusted the rails and laser so it cut 24 inch tile perfectly at the laser.
if you cant cut longer pieces straight look to see if the blade is not perpendicular with the table.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RP Worth worth it's weight in gold
I was skeptical about buying this and then I ran into some tile guys on a job and asked him he said he had 3 of them so I figured it couldn't be that bad . I had a small Mk years ago it was loud and worthless
I used this today I'm doing a upstairs job and didn't feel like messing with my Dewalt which is a good heavy duty saw but sometimes it's a bit much to load and set up for smaller jobs that's why I was looking at this Rigid. Now I don't expect it to last forever at this price point but it's definetly quitter running and cutting than my Dewalt it actually reminds me a a mini version in many ways. The laser feature is nice it seemed to cut straight and clean so far. Pump was a little weak at first but started working ok I ran it in a bucket not in the saw tray to save on mess and clean up. I would recommend it and hope it holds up I'd buy another even if this only gets me through a dozen jobs or so it'd be worth it

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shawn great saw for price
Saw is easy to use without the laser. Well worth the purchase for do it yourself projects. Have not had any of the problems that others have mentioned.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mustbelee Awesome saw with minor adjustment
As some had complained the sliding table has slop in it and there is no adjustment. I found a way and its simple so I'll share it on my Instagram at mustbelee. This way no one will miss out on a great tile saw for 300 bucks!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by usmcwest0352 Great tile saw
I upgraded from a small craftsman wet tile saw that I had used for 4 or 5 jobs and I was totally impressed. I love the rest of my ridgid products and was excited to get this tile saw for a bathroom remodel at my own house. Deffinetely saved some time upgrading my saw and everything functioned great. I also like the stand it comes with, great to have adjustable height. I used to work off of the ground or on saw horses.
