I have had this for about 5 years now and this thing is a beast! I love the feel of of it, it's not too heavy and with the right bits it will drill through just about anything. Like most contractors I prefer my cordless drill and driver but sometimes I get big jobs that will eat up my batteries like candy so instead of messing with chargers and all that I just use this. I wish Ridgid would make a corded 1/4 impact to compliment this drill.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SCSurfer Overall a great tool.
I picked up this tool because I needed a "fein" saw and the option to add other attachments was I nice option.
The fine saw works great and I have added other tool heads to my collection. I now have the saber saw, right angle impact driver, and saw all.
I find that its a great tool to grab on the way to a small repair or punch list job. It does so many things that I can leave I log of my regular tools at home
I've been using this on the job for almost 2 years and the only problem I have he is keeping track of it. Seems someone is always grabbing it.
Overall I'm very happy with this product and plan to buy the pneumatic power unit next.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by naw1949 Won't buy any other now that I have tried the best
Tried my elitist nephew's corded Rigid many years ago and it was what a corded drill should be in feel , power and durability. Now I only buy the Rigid Line and am a full convert for my Carpentry and Renovation Business of 45 years. Also have had many of the 18V Portables and find them worthwhile and strong competition to the Toys the other guys are using. I recommend the full line of Rigid and their spectrum of very good tools for the professional and the elitist handy man who want only the best like me.
Thanks Guys and Gals.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Woody Everything you could want in one tool
I am contractor, with most of what i do being old work/remodels. I needed something that could deal with most any situation i run into with needing a power tool. This jobmax works great for this. Instead of needing to carry around 8 different boxes with tools, i can bring the one in with me and deal with most anything i come across. The jobmax has the power to cut though framing with the sawzall, run for long periods of time using the plunge cut, jigsaw working great at plywood (i tried in on a 2x4 and didnt work great at turning, but still did it). The nailer drives 3.5in fraiming nails with ease. All in all one of the best purchases i have made for a power tool. I highly recomend

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Keni This product has great features
I am very pleased with this power tool, it has a reasonable cost than the competitors. It has all the capabilities and is equal or a much better tool than most out there., compact, the variable speed is in the trigger, light under the blade, hand trigger is close to the work, it's fairly quiet, has the power to cut, it takes all the different brands of blades, scrapers and tile grout remover. The case is not bulky fits in limited space. They also got a cordless in a similar model w/ a 12 volt lithium battery, works great and is handy when power is not available, does the same as the corded..

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dukech Use this tool in several applictions
The JobMax is one of my most used tools. I have used this tool for undercutting door jambs for tile, grout removal, peeling up old flooring, cutting holes in gyp board for re-routing electrical, cutting miters in aluminum angle, sanding in tight corners and much more. The Auto-Hammer head works great getting into tight spaces where a hammer will not work. The 4 position head works great in odd spaces. This tool is solidly built and is a work horse. With the lifetime warranty and the rugged construction this multi-tool is a must have.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weekender Great for most jobs
Multi tool says it all. Great for custom carpentry, great for cutting drywall, sanding door jams, undercutting. The list goes on and on. I love this thing. The light is a huge benefit as well. I will definitely be buying other heads to put on it in the future when I run into something this thing can't do on my weekend jobs. Professionally I run a warehouse. On the side is custom carpentry and wood flooring. Only reason I gave durability a score of good instead of excellent is because of the short time I've owned it.
