Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Klondikemike My second flip top work support
The new support has undergone some changes. Some good others, others they could have left alone. The top is wider and has less friction which helps considerably. The leg pivot point is not as positive as the earlier model. This lends itself to creating a setup problem in that you need to be absolutely positive that the legs are splayed all the way out and stay that way as you adjust the height otherwise there is the potential of the support being pulled over as heavy material is pushed over the top. At the least it could create poor tracking when pushing a 4x8 sheet of expensive plywood through a tablesaw. Between the two supports I would give both a rating of 9 out of 10. If they would have just added the new larger top to the older version base it would have rated a 10. In any case, the deficiency I have pointed out, in no way should detour you from purchasing one of these. For the money, quality and portability, I don't believe you can beat it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Remodeler One of a kind.
I am a professional contractor and I own six of these. I find them to be almost indispensable when using a miter saw or a table saw. These are the only item on the market like this except for the roller or roller bearing material supports, and for the most part I find that they work better than these other material supports.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DC45 Helpful Tool that works.
I like the Flip Top Portable work support. It has been a good "third hand" when i am working alone on the table saw or drill press. I have used the big long roller. These pull your work to one side or the other if they are not EXACTLY set up at 90 degrees to the work flow. The flip top does not pull or push the work off line. You may need to hang a gallon jug of water or sand to make it more stable, but that is no issue. I have purchased a second one for my self and two for a son for his workshop. I like the tool. Nothing is perfect but i would and have 'purchased again.'

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SelectWoodWorks Practical design, very useful
I purchased two based on reviews from others. I have used them many times for joining and planing long and heavy walnut planks, as well as for supporting table tops while finishing. They are not super heavy duty, but are engineered properly to function very well for my purpose. More useful than both my roller (which tends to mis-steer) and ball bearing stands (which causes markings on wood).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Darkwoodmaker A better Stand
I brought two other stands from the company that color is green, the stands would fall or move out of place. I return the other two stand and bought a Flip Top, a lot better support, and construction. Easy to setup and store.

It is a good little material support station. It is somewhat light duty the pin that holds the fliptop flat slides into a plastic hole. Any stress at all on that causing it to break or crack and you will be repairing it ..
