I own and operate my own general contracting business. I normally use all Milwaukee when it comes to power tools. However when looking for a good oscillating tool Milwaukees was $119 for just the bare tool no battery no charger. after looking at every other brand I came upon Rigids JobMax cordless oscillating tool. for the same price it came with the tool, the battery, a charger as well as a carry bag and quite a few other accessories. Having heard good things about the Rigid brand I purchased it. What really got me excited about this tool was the different heads that can be attached to the tool. I also purchased a rotozip attachment and the small Sawzall attachment ad well as a bigger spare battery. I am more than pleased with my purchase. I won't do a single job without this tool with me. I am impressed with its power, battery life and durability. I would recommend this tool and the Rigid brand to anyone. This is now my second choice for any tool under my preferred Milwaukee.

It worked well when the battery lasted. But after only a few uses the battery no longer holds a charge. But now it is almost useless.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by astrobill great tool. Terrible batties. Don't buy this tool.
I've bought 2 extra batteries for this tool. they last about 2 to 3 minutes and thats it. Worthless on the job.
batteries failed to charge after less than one year. Rigid owes me an apology for this tool. I bought the corded one to take advantage of the adapters. The corded one works really well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Carpenter Don't know how I would do without it
I have been a carpenter/contractor for 40+ years and this is one of the most useful tools I own. I had initially bought a competitors 12v. multitool and that was a mistake; while it did the job, the battery didn't last long and it wasn't very powerful.
In certain situations, there isn't anything that will do the job better. I use it to plunge cut into baseboard, undercut door trim and jambs to install flooring, sand trim, spot sand drywall, cut holes in vinyl siding for outlets, and the list goes on. I have had mine for about a year and if I lost it, I would buy one again in days. And if it broke, Ridgid would give me another one for free! Great tool.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BP CON WORST TOOL EVER MADE. JUNK!!!
I should start by saying that the batteries on this tool only last 5-15 charges before they just wont charge any more. I was dumb enough to buy this tool twice because in my line of work if the tool worked, it would be priceless. BUT ITS JUNK.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Daniel New Ridgid combo pack
The only problem I have with this kit is in the Lifetime Service Agreement. It was a pain getting it, because the items were sent individually, instead of the kit. However, with a little persistence to the Ridgid people, the LSA is in affect. Thanks for great service to Home Depot and The Ridgid company. Love it!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by jonrock7 Very Disappointed
I purchased the 1st kit and used it for 10 months when the electronics in the motor failed. I did not go online and register the product initially so I ended up having to purchase another unit. I have had continous problems with the batteries and the charger. If the battery runs low the charger will not allow the discharged battery to recharge. I have purchased multiple batteries and chargers only to continue with the same results. When I actually have a working tool it is a great tool. It sure beats manually doing the work but I seldom can ever use the tool due to all of the problems. VERY UNRELIABLE!!!!!
