On a scale of one to ten with ten the highest It cut the material a one. I considered returning it and may still do so. A hack saw worked much better. Save your money if you are buying this for metal.

I have been disappointed with these types of blades from my first Dremel all the way to my current Ridgid tool they never seem to cut wood or metal quick enough for me and they wear out very quickly for the cost that being said they do work well on drywall and soft woods.

I used it to cut some (very inexpensive) laminate flooring that had already been put down, in order to make a little more room for the transition strip.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Tried to cut the thin metal of a shower enclosure and it failed miserably. I'd hate to try and cut real metal with it. The blades work good for wood. Don't buy the metal blade, you will be disappointed. I should have returned it and still may.
