Answer:
Not sure if it can be sent to the store, but certainly can be sent directly to your home and if you don't like it you can return it to your local store.

Yes, you can either order it online or ask your Home Depot to place what is called a "special order" that they could order directly through the mfg.

Answer:
Yes, these heads are interchangeable, meaning they can be used with the RIDGID 18V console (power handle, multi-tool, model#R2850) and also with any RYOBI power handles. It's not necessarily just for the 12V volt series.

Yes but the auto hammer doesn't work that good. I ended up returning mine. I have the jobmax corded version and it couldn't drive a 3 1/2 nail.

Anyone used this with TKO Nails?

We use a TKO nailer for hurricane clips and tie-downs but sometimes operate in very small areas, like when a girder and a truss are within 4-6 inches of each other. Was wondering if this attachment would work on a limited basis with TKO nails.

Answer:
The hammer head specs state that the nail head's diameter must be less than 7/16", and the length can be up to 3.5". So for example, a #10 bright common was listed as an acceptable diameter.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 45 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Handy for smaller jobs I bought this because I also own a pneumatic palm nailer but I wanted something that I could use without the air compressor. I have this with the 12v power base to install a handful of joist hangers and large number of electrical boxes and it has worked well for both of those tasks. Like the other Jobmax attachments that I own this seems to be really sturdy and very well made although lacking a little in the power department (in this case compared to the pneumatic palm nailer). The only cons to this tool are that the head is very difficult to get on and off the power base and the battery life is not that great. October 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A real nail pounder! My project did not allow for the swinging of a traditional hammer. This little guy was the perfect answer. I was driving common nails in my project and this hammer head performed better than expectations. The driver face is convex, made starting nails a bit tricky. But once started, a breeze to use. The convex hammer face and large nail head opening makes the use of finish nails mostly impossible. If you are not careful you can bend nails with this tool just as well as with a traditional hammer. I made some really cool looking "z" nails. 3d common drove like a hot knife through butter. The 6d common drove well, but seemed to struggle just a bit in the last 3/4". Well worth the money spent and a great addition to my multi-tool. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than dragging a air compressor It was a pain to haul an air compressor up 2 flights of stairs and have it running loud in a small room. This little tool let me ditch the compressor and work the few nails I needed In a master bath remodel. May 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saves time and I barely use my air compressor The head is kind of big, it is thicker then my air palm nailer, but in most places it saves me from using an air compressor in the house. I appreciate that. May 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great product - hard to register warranty The job max tool is easy to use . I like the feel and balance in my hands while using. The biggest problem of Ridgid tools is trying to get the company to verify the LSA warranty even after purchasing at Home Depot and submitting on line and mailing (certified mail) the proper documentation. March 15, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Auto hammer I really like the Jobmax line but the auto hammer does not do it justice. I have the corded jobmax version and it will not drive a 16d 3 1/2 inch penny nail through a 2x4. Will be returning this attachment for a refund. March 15, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I expected While the product does attach easily to my Ryobi, the nail sizing leaves something to be desired. The actual part that drives the nails in is convex which makes it every difficult to drive 4d finish nails. ( doesn't center the nail unless you hold the nail) It may work better for common nails. I bought it to install base boards, thought it would be easier in tight spaces, which it was, but the finish nail moves around on the driving part. I actually made an sort of metal adapter that fits in the magnetic collar with a recess drilled in it to hold the 4d nail in the center. Worked pretty good if I do say so myself. You might think about making something like that for different sized finish nails. I am a above average do-it -yourself-er. Most of my work is around the home. I do more mechanical type work, motorcycles, etc. January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Auto hammer Love this tool only used it a few days but has worked vary well only time it has not drove nail in when I hit knot in wood but other then that works great March 5, 2016
