Started buying Ridgid power tools 10 years ago and never went back to Craftsman again. The craftsmanship is superior and you can't beat a the warranty. I now have a 12" Chop Saw, 18v Drill/Driver that I've had for 10 and 9 years respectively and haven't had the first bit of trouble, while my next-door neighbor who bought a DeWalt drill a year after I got my drill has had to buy another because the drill head gears went bad on his.
Hands down, these are the best tools you can get for your money and they LAST! Haven't had my JOBMAX Multi-Tool that long but it has been doing great since I got it. Good weight so you don't get your hands vibrated to death while using it, and the ability to use multi-vendor attachments will be a plus down the road in case I need to barrow one from a friend to do a one time job with it.

I got this product just over a year ago and used it 4 or 5 times to do some very delicate molding fitment. Then I needed to trim some artificial brick vernier and all of a sudden it stopped working, I looked at the unit and the blade was not moving but the motor was turning. so now I have to try and get some warranty I hope.

This tool can get in the tightest of areas. This attachment with its various cutting blade attachments has been used by me in outdoor building of a shed, tile timing and cutting for new flooring. This attachment is very durable and versitile great for pro’s and do it your selfers alike!

Great tool but the gears stripped out within a year of light use. Now I can't purchase the replacement attachment as it is not sold in stores and has been "out of stock" on line for the past several months. I would encourage spending a little more and get the Fein Mulitmaster.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bill Works well and pricing very reasonable
Bought a second head in that the first tool worked so well and I often needed to cut and then sand, and then cut and sand some more. With the new head I can switch between heads with just a click of a button. Can't wait for them to offer a router head to use with drywall.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Squirel one for cutting / one for sanding
I got one at first found I need a second one, so I set one up for sanding and the other for cutting / I found it took longer to change between the sanding and the cutting then just change the head so I just got a second head one for each.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by abcdefghijklmnopqrstu Has good solid overall quality feel. However, still looking for source for the blades, sanders, etc. that fit the multi-pupose head. Would rate as excellent if could find these items. As such, can only rate as Dissappointed, which is not one of the Star Rating options.

I have used my RIDGID Jobmax 12v several times. This particular multi tool head is capable of cutting alot of materials, especially wood. There is a blade that comes with it that says it will cut thin metal and wood. Trust me the metal it should refer to is copper, if you cut anything else it will be as dull as a butter knife before you know it. Another reviewer said he could not find any blades that fit it. It is true that it is almost impossible to get the RIDGID brand blades seperately. However there are better blades out there. In the description of this item it says it includes an adpater to fit the most common oscillating blades on the market. This adapter is crucial!!! It looks like a thick washer about the size and thickness of a nickel with a hole in the middle for the screw. The adapter has 4 pins on either side and a D on one side and a F on the other side. This is referring to Dremel blades and Fien blades. Yes you can use either blades making this tool an absolute must have.
