When I first got my JobMax I figured it was a carpentry tool, cutting wood, drilling holes etc so I never gave this attachment much thought on where it would be useful. When I finally picked one up I was surprised how often it now comes in handy. I use it on a variety of applications including automotive. Longer bolts where I would have to spend a few minutes moving a ratchet back and forth is now complete in literally seconds. Do this over 8 bolts and you can easily see where it saves you time.
When used with the 18v base the power is really good. Many larger bolts you will need to break with a manual ratchet but imo that's to be expected as this is not an impact tool. Same with tightening, you will need to go over the bolts by hand to be certain of correct torque.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Ihave2manytools Great accessory head for the corded JobMax
With the corded version of the JobMax the Ratchet Head has PLENTY of power, in fact if you don't watch out when first using it, you can easily twist your wrist while holding on the JobMax when the nut/bolt has stopped turning and the entire tool tries to whip around.
And adjustable clutch is really needed to disengage the ratchet when a nut is tight and max torque has been reached, and that is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars .
So far, this tool head has worked on everything that I've tried it on, from rusted on 3/8" nuts to 5/16 x 6" lag bolts into 4x4's.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by woodworker48066 great for around the house use
at this point i now have the entire set of accessories for the job max set, these work great for light duty things such as furniture assembly, cutting wood, driving in finish nails, tightening up loose bolts, etc.you would have to be crazy not to want this set, i was a little scared about this investment after reading some of the reviews on here, so i put mine through the test in my work shop. keep in mind it is 12 volts, you are not going to make a piece of furniture from scratch or repair your car with this tool, you wont drive a 3 or 4 inch nail through oak, but for all the small things you may need to do this ratchet and the other accessories are perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by 5w20valve It works great at the push of a button
This thing works great for turning bolts loose or tight. As long as they are not too tight. It is not meant for high torque applications, but works good for what it is. It is very handy and has a low profile for tight areas.
