Cuts plastic pipe with no burrs and straight also. Helpful when you are in close areas.

I had a small cut job to do in my kitchen it did a nice quick job . I'm sure it will get easier and better the more I use it better than using a hand saw.

I have the older model of this with the completely closed end and I love it. It cuts super easy and always gives you nice square cuts! I have used it to do all the plumbing in my kitchen and 2 bathrooms when we did a remodel and I installed all new drain pipes and I have also used I countless times at my moms rental units! I would not go back to a hacksaw after using this tool! This little gem has found a permanent home in my plumbing tools and supplies toolbox!

Makes perfect clean cuts every time. Couldn't say that about my hack saw.

This is a great product for anyone who cuts a lot of PVC or Electrical gray conduit.
It cuts straight and smooth for that perfect looking job.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ZZZRSC Great Idea but falls short on performance
Like another Poster stated, it works great on the thinner PVC tubing that Home Depot and Lowes sell, but it does not cut all the way through on the heavier gauge pvc drain tubing sold by commercial wholesalers. This makes it a great homeowner tool, but leaves the Professionals out in the cold. Works for 15 ga. and smaller, does not work well for 13 ga. and thicker. It is very disappointing to see how Ridgid has declined in product design over recent years.
