This tool is awesome. Don't know why I didn't get this sooner. Cuts rolled roofing with such ease. I use the other blades to make so many cuts on other materials as well so can be very versatile as well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dave It was twenty-seven degrees out this morning...
...when I went out to throw some shingles on the house and this thing (just bought it today) worked amazingly well! Anyone that does roofs knows it is a little bit more difficult in colder temperatures, cutting those architectural shingles and this...is a game changer. It outperformed my expectations. I was a little bit hesitant, reading the reviews, because I use a portable (pancake) compressor and some of the reviews suggested a higher volume would be necessary but, it worked VERY well...just taking my time and allowing it to do the work. That being said, it took a little getting used to and it is VERY sharp...so, be careful!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by demodude Goes through Rolled Roof like butter
If you ever have to remove a layer of rolled roofing this is the tool. It literally cuts rolled roof as fast as you can walk backwards. The tool itself is not loud, very easy to handle, lightweight yet durable. I have yet to use it to trim shingles so cannot give a review but i give it 4.5 stars on the rolled roof part of the demolition i did this week. Whats great is you simply put the hook under the first layer, walk backwards and with a little care it will easily skim over another layer of rolled roof underneath without cutting into it. Great tool, we were so impressed went out and bought a second unit the same day.

This was on sale for a reason. Limited use of the tool and poor quality.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hotrod351 does the job ++++
been roofing for 30+ years. getting where cutting the edge of shingles and roll roofing flush is little bit harder than it use to be. this tool is perfect for that. really easy to use and cuts straight as a arrow. sill cut two dimensional shingles stacked on top of each other, not with lighting speed, but will cut them with no problems. basically what you have is a air saw with a designed blade for cutting roofing material. a quality air saw is going to cost the price of this saw so even if you only use it as a air saw your still ahead of the game, but it will do the job it is sold for. again, your not going to cut though shingles with lighting speed, like a hot knife though butter, but it will do the job with reasonable speed. glad i finally bought it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thistoolisawesome A GREAT TOOL for cutting shingles!!!!
This is a GREAT TOOL for cutting or trimming shingles!!! Cuts through shingles like butter!!! Used it on edging with the edging being a guide and used it to cut & trim three tab shingles for ridge caps by hand!! Saved many hours and knuckles with this tool & what was great was I had a lot of ridges & would nail shingles to go over ridges, did three rows and was able to trim shingle perfect on the ridge & ridge caps then fit perfect!!! Definitely buy this tool even if your not a contractor!!!!!!

When I started looking at this tool I thought the price was too high and had a lot of trouble justifying the purchase. Honestly, what pushed it over the top was that it's pretty cool (and let's face it, that goes a long way in tools). So glad I did. I'm running it on a 6 gallon pancake compressor at 90psi and cut each shingle as I install it as opposed to trying to cut the whole length of the roof at the end. Pay attention to the factory rep's statement below- it works just fine on the double layer portion as long as you let the tool do the work and not force it. It works well when you raise the angle of the tool and let it run along the drip edge for a perfect cut.
