I am reluctant to buy a reconditioned nailer online without seeing it or knowing how much use it has had.
So a lifetime warranty is key to even consider it.
Thanks,

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in RIDGID!
RIDGID factory reconditioned products carry a one year warranty only. They do not qualify for the Lifetime Service Agreement coverage that new RIDGID power tool purchases qualify for.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Worked fine, Guaranteed to break plastic coil cover in-time. General Contractor: Not an exclusive roofing contractor, my neighbor asked... I bought this gun with skepticism. Worked well. Adjusted well, jammed rarely. No problem there. Con: Ridgid had a cheap piece of clear plastic covering the coil. I didn't crack or break it yet but the ability to see how many nails I have left is less important than HAVING THE THING last. This is not commercial grade. Roofers don't use this tool. Or buy an extra piece of coil plastic to swap out when it breaks. December 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked excellent I was very happy with this product. I was able to roof my 2 story shed. Loved it. Easy to use and load. May 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Roofing nail gun. Already have one of these Nailers l bought a few years ago. Haven't had a minute trouble out of either of them.Use them on roofing projects 4 or 5 times a year. Get gun for the price. Highly recommend this product. September 22, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Can't give a reliable review yet. Due to not useing it yet. But I did shoot a few nails though to make sure it worked. I have not begun my roof job yet so this will be incomplete. I can say that I bought a reconditioned Ridgid 1-3/4 roofing nailer. I was shocked to see that the gun had quite a bit of use!! You could tell that it has been used to do at least one roof job. Even the bag it came with was used. I have bought reconditioned tools before & never have I seen one this beat-up. But I did put in a coil of nails and shot a couple and it worked like it should. I just don't know how long it will last. If I get through my roof with no problems, I will be sure to come back and give a better review. And change my rating. If your wondering why I posted a review? I got 3 e-mails from HD to do so. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by overall great I've had this gun for 5 years, very easy to use. Purchased at home depot, needed service, took it back to HD. They sent it out, got it back in a reasonable amount of time. Repair price was good. November 24, 2014
