Hi Curious1, yes this saw with the proper blade can cut though 2" inch conduit. However this is only a 4amp tool, so it will take some time.
The larger models of saws with 10-12 amps are the best for fast cutting and getting the job done.

Uses all Standard Reciprocating blades. I highly recommend staying with good brand name blades as the are made with better materials and last a whole lot longer. Yes more expensive but no headaches compared using the generic cheap blades.

Answer:
The Rigid 3030 reciprocating saw takes standard blades and can be purchased at Home Depot and other retail stores. Blades vary significantly in cost, from $2 to $20. A saw will only cut as well as the installed blade, so I'd recommend using a good quality blade. A good quality blade will cut better and faster and will last longer than an inferior blade.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No problems here I've had no problems with this reciprocating saw. It's a 6 amp, one-handed beast. Works well, but it is not it's 15 amp two-handed big brother. First, this is a reciprocating saw, you're not going to get finish-like cuts out of it. They are not designed for it. It's not a portable scroll-saw, or a circular saw, or even a jig saw. If you want a nice "pretty" cut, then you'd better have the skill and experience to do so, because "sawzalls" are not finish tools. Especially if you are using it one-handed. Second, do not complain about the warranty and wait times. If you failed to ask about the warranty OR read the GIGANTIC warranty registration card that came with this tool, that is your problem. When I saw "Lifetime Warranty", I said "Well this sounds WAY too good to be true". The catch is you HAVE to register it within something like 30 or 90 days of purchase. I have forgotten to register a RIdgid product and now there is no warranty on it. You do not see me on here blaming someone else for me not taking care of my end of the deal. Furthermore, I've never met a contractor who relies on one specific tool on a day-to-day basis and only has one. So those who claim to have all of this hardship because they bought this tool, as a contractor, and it's durability and time-to-repair or replace is long, need to find a different occupation. Wait time is part of warranties and tool breakage is part of running a business. This is a great 6 amp, one-handed, corded, reciprocating saw. 15 years of doing residential framing, some commercial framing, and demo, remodel, and punch for both. September 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It's a great tool Easy to handle with one hand. Not over powering. And cuts consistently August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reciprocating saw Saw was very light and easy to use with one hand. I use this saw all the time August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice tool Had a situation that any other tool I had could not get into due to size, so I purchased this to to meet my needs at this time . Found the tool has easy blade change, lights up what you are cutting and was easy easy to use. August 2, 2016
