The RIDGID ZRR84082 jobsite radio just plays music. It does not have the ability to charge a phone, and there are no optional connectors or adaptors offered for it.

Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot, Daniel. The two jobsite radios have different features and are different in size as well. You can compare the 2 here:

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Musically functional, but with two broken parts. For the most part, everything functions as described. My interest was in using this as a iPod player with an iPod Classic. I purchased this as a refurbished product because even new, this product does not come with the Rigid lifetime service agreement. This gave me the opportunity to see what Rigid does with reconditioned products. Out of the box the catch that keeps the iPod tray held in the back of the compartment designed for it was broken (when you open the door, the inner tray falls open too). This does not impact the music functionality of the device. Also, one of the tabs that holds on the battery door for the remote was broken off. The door will close but if I lose another tab it won't be able to close on its own. On the up side, the case/frame appears durable and dust resistant. The FM tuner with the antenna up seems to pull in stations almost as well as my car radio and the sound quality and volume are worth the money and satisfactory for my garage workshop. I have not yet decided if I want to return it due to the two broken components. As mentioned the iPod tray clip is not vital and can't get any worse but if the battery door fails I'm stuck with kludging the remote. January 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good buy!! Great jobsite Radio. The remote is handy and the iPod dock is great! The sound quality is excellent although it could be a little louder. It dosen't charge the battery, but thats really not that big a deal to me. Over all a really good value. Thanks. November 2, 2013
