Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 126 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great tool. Just make sure to get the 5 amp battery. I started buying Ridged tools about 3 months ago. So far it been standing up to everything I put it thru. The warranty is a pain in the (you know what). But if it works like they advertise then it will be worth it. As for the saw goes it great. Light weight. and cuts great, That is until the battery dies after about 5 or 6 cuts. The standard battery is not up to do the job. This tool should have been sold With the 5 amp battery. Selling it without the battery makes you think that it will run great with the batteries you have. (4 total received when buying other kits) I would have been more then happy to pay 200 for the complete kit at one time then having to go back and get the 5 amp battery later or having to run all my batteries down faster then they can get charged. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handy little saw My barn is not close to the house. There is no power to it yet. Frankly, dragging the big old circular saw out and 500' of electrical cord was a pain. We loved the Ridgid impact driver and reciprocating saw so we thought "let's give the circular saw a shot." It is a lot easier to carry around battery operated tools. Additionally, neither my daughter nor I are very large women. This saw gets the job done without being so heavy and cumbersome. We can cut nearly anything we need to without too much problem. Does it replace our chop saw or table saw? No, but it isn't supposed to. The only negative is that you will need more than one battery. It takes less battery than the reciprocating saw but more than the impact driver. June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE IT!! I thought I'd get this cordless circular saw for those times when a cord is not an option...but it has become a replacement for my corded saws in almost every situation! I love it!! July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 18-Volt Cordless Circular Saw I had been using a Dewalt for many years I let someone borrow it and then needed it for a project that came up. My friend was out of town so I bought a new one to work with the rest of my Rigid cordless tools. Best move I could have made. Lighter, quieter, easier to maneuver and faster start/stop on the blade. Very happy. June 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this tool. It's so compact and light. Really gets the job done. This saw is great for those on the fly cuts. It's so light weight and with no cord it can go anywhere. It really gets the job done and done right. April 20, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Disappointed Bought this saw after having good luck with Ridgid cordless drills and impact driver. The Battery doesn't last more than a dozen cuts of 1x4 pine and even fewer with 2x4's. Don't even bother trying to cut 1/2" sheeting. I thought it might be the battery, but I charged it and put it in my impact driver and drove 3/8 lag bolts and pole barn screws for more than half the day before switching batteries. I'll be bringing the saw back, really expected more out of Ridgid. My Dad had his Ryobi cordless saw on the same job and it ran circles around my Ridgid, which I found odd because Ryobi and Ridgid are sister companies, maybe the should share so technology. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Saw!!! Very strong saw. It's nice not to have to drag extension cords around. Highly recommend!!! February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best circular saw I have ever used and cuts through wood like butter. I have only cut couple boards so far but it make the job much more enjoyable. lightweight and not very noisy, and the blade stops turning immediately. I really like the portability of it and since I can go anywhere in the yard to cut wood. I wish I would have had it last year when I built my fence around garden. February 5, 2016
