I was encouraged to buy an impact driver when my neighbor found out I was building a garden shed (12' X 15') in a remote area of my property. (no electricity). I went shopping and found the 18V drill, impact, radio combo. After checking on prices elsewhere, I knew I had found just what I needed. Then I discovered that the batteries have a lifetime warranty which is very important when you have battery powered power tools. I'm just about done with the building and have not broken off one head on the screws I am putting the metal on with. A fantastic tool....Just used it yesterday (impact tool) to change tire on pickup. Handled the 13/16 socket like it was nothing. VERY SATISIFIED!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by buckeyedad What a great little radio!!
I did a lot of research before I decided on this Ridgid combo. I can't believe how powerful they really are! The lights have really good placement on the tools as well. There were two main selling points for me on this combo... 1) You get a lifetime warranty on the tool and battery after you register your serial number! 2) You get a very impressive little radio with surprisingly big sound, and with an mp3 aux plug-in for the same price as the two tool combo. You can't go wrong!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by OhioDIYguy Great Drill / Driver.... LOUSY Customer Service.
I purchased this set a couple of months ago for use around the home on some remodeling projects.
The drill and driver have been fantastic.... easily outperforming some of my friends other brands of similar tools. Based upon this I would have gladly given the set 5 stars.
HOWEVER.... one battery just stopped working after being used in the radio for several hours. It will not take a charge and is shown as 'faulty'. No big deal... just return it under the 'lifetime' program.
NOT A CHANCE. Not only have I made multiple calls to RIGID and 3 trips to HomeDepot.... even under warranty the Store Manager can't seem to get RIGID to exchange the battery (which still looks new and has NO apparent damage) .
Buyer beware... there is NO support on this company. (note... their Facebook page is locked... Yet Dewalt, Craftsman, etc. all allow customers to post directly.... wonder why RIGID is afraid of what people say about them!)

Do not throw away your box until your LSA has been approved. Ridgid is trying to reduce the amount of customers who apply for the LSA. They will email you a couple weeks after registration requesting additional information. You will then need to certify mail them your original receipt and UPS cut out. I bought the tool direct from home depots website so how could the possibly need additional information to verify??
Luckily I have read about Ridgid doing this to other people so I saved my box. I really didn't believe Ridgid would play games like this, but sure enough they do.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by zappid Great package for a nice price
I already owned a ridgid impact driver, but this package was on sale at the time I was looking for a drill, so I went with this. I really like the 18 volt batteries, they are durable and reliable and have a fast charge time. The tools included are durable and well made. For the price of this package on sale, it is worth it. I am an avid DIYer and Ridgid tools work great for me. My brother came over with his Milwaukee 18 volt kit to help me put up a new garage door. The Milwaukee tools are noticably more powerful when used side-by-side, but this also comes with a price. For the weekend warrior homeowner, I would highly recommend this kit for the price and quality.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pete Do not believe Ridgid Warranty Hype
My "lifetime warranty" batteries failed in a little more than a year and Ridgid told me I had to take them to a service center over 100 miles away. Useless.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Faisal Perfect Kit for All jobs
This toolkit comes with, Drill, Impact Driver, a radio, 2 batteries, 2 belt clips and one plug-n-play handle to add additional grip if required. I am more than impressed with what this toolkit offers. Drill, Impact Driver or Radio, all three products are top quality in looks, feel, performance and durability. Home or professional use, this kit fits just right in.
Drill’s torque setting from 1-24 guarantees that it will deliver no matter what the task is.
I’ve used it in numerous home projects of all different sizes; and each time I absolutely enjoyed working with the drill and driver. The impact driver has more than needed power that now I don’t even bother making the pilot holes before driving the screws in the studs.
The LED light is greatly added convenience. I have owed other drills with LED light but the placement of the LED on this drill is just perfect, making the light spectrum illuminating exactly the work area only.
The batteries have an LED indicator to display the power by simple press of a button. Charge time for fully drained battery is about an hour.
Generally, when a free item is added in a package, it’s not always a top quality. But the free radio with this kit gets all 5 starts. It supports AM/FM and MP3. There is a built-in slot in the back of radio that can hold your MP3 device. The MP3 connector cable is about 6” long and I think it should’ve been a bit longer than that. The sound quality on the radio is really decent.
Lifetime service agreement is added peace of mind and guarantees that this kit is worth every penny that it costs.
Except the radio, all other kit components come in a nice carrying bag that has temporary card board dividers to place kit components in dedicated slots. It would’ve been nice if the Velcro dividers were used instead of card board.
I am a very happy consumer and look forward to longtime working partnership with it.

I bought this drill as a package deal for about $180 from home depot. I've had this drill less than a year and the chuck / gears broke while trying to drive 2" wood screws. I remember the sales person saying it's a great drill for less money than a dewalt. Just bring it back if it ever breaks and exchange it 3 year warranty. Well it did break and what's even worse is trying to return or exchnange. First tried a home depot close to my work on Hwy 6. Customer service was absolutley no help. They told me to go to another store on Hwy 6 where they could repair it or exchange it. Again no help; did absolutely nothing for me. So in my opinion the service at these two stores is less than poor and as far as the drill is concerned sometimes you get what you pay for. Sure am glad I had my dewalt to finish the job.
