Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by OhioDIYguy Great Drill / Driver.... LOUSY Customer Service.
I purchased this set a couple of months ago for use around the home on some remodeling projects.
The drill and driver have been fantastic.... easily outperforming some of my friends other brands of similar tools. Based upon this I would have gladly given the set 5 stars.
HOWEVER.... one battery just stopped working after being used in the radio for several hours. It will not take a charge and is shown as 'faulty'. No big deal... just return it under the 'lifetime' program.
NOT A CHANCE. Not only have I made multiple calls to RIGID and 3 trips to HomeDepot.... even under warranty the Store Manager can't seem to get RIGID to exchange the battery (which still looks new and has NO apparent damage) .
Buyer beware... there is NO support on this company. (note... their Facebook page is locked... Yet Dewalt, Craftsman, etc. all allow customers to post directly.... wonder why RIGID is afraid of what people say about them!)

My "lifetime warranty" batteries failed in a little more than a year and Ridgid told me I had to take them to a service center over 100 miles away. Useless.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Delester16 Excellent product with long battery life!
I was encouraged to buy an impact driver when my neighbor found out I was building a garden shed (12' X 15') in a remote area of my property. (no electricity). I went shopping and found the 18V drill, impact, radio combo. After checking on prices elsewhere, I knew I had found just what I needed. Then I discovered that the batteries have a lifetime warranty which is very important when you have battery powered power tools. I'm just about done with the building and have not broken off one head on the screws I am putting the metal on with. A fantastic tool....Just used it yesterday (impact tool) to change tire on pickup. Handled the 13/16 socket like it was nothing. VERY SATISIFIED!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tsiecz Not for a contractor/ Save your money
I've had my set for over 6 months, and I'm very disappointed. Impact driver Battery lasts only 20 minutes max and under continuous work load less then that. Not for a contractor , more home use type projects. Drill will max out ( torque out) and not spin under heavy load. Constantly changing batteries and wait for them to charge . Radio works great though . LOL Save your money , going back to DeWalt myself.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NicH Excellent Drill Combo
I am not a pro, but I am able to tackle most of the jobs that come my way. I have built some furniture over the years and I have used corded and cordless Dewalt tools. I heard about Ridgid from a roofer and was told to check their products. When it came time for a new drill, I picked up the combo kit. By far the best drill I have ever used. The weight is less and the drill just feels better in my hand. I was surprised by light on the handle and useful it has been working in darker areas. The lifetime service agreement they give you if you register the product cannot be beaten. I only wish I had purchased their products earlier, I would have saved a lot of money by not having to pay to replace a few tools.

I bought this drill as a package deal for about $180 from home depot. I've had this drill less than a year and the chuck / gears broke while trying to drive 2" wood screws. I remember the sales person saying it's a great drill for less money than a dewalt. Just bring it back if it ever breaks and exchange it 3 year warranty. Well it did break and what's even worse is trying to return or exchnange. First tried a home depot close to my work on Hwy 6. Customer service was absolutley no help. They told me to go to another store on Hwy 6 where they could repair it or exchange it. Again no help; did absolutely nothing for me. So in my opinion the service at these two stores is less than poor and as far as the drill is concerned sometimes you get what you pay for. Sure am glad I had my dewalt to finish the job.

Do not throw away your box until your LSA has been approved. Ridgid is trying to reduce the amount of customers who apply for the LSA. They will email you a couple weeks after registration requesting additional information. You will then need to certify mail them your original receipt and UPS cut out. I bought the tool direct from home depots website so how could the possibly need additional information to verify??
Luckily I have read about Ridgid doing this to other people so I saved my box. I really didn't believe Ridgid would play games like this, but sure enough they do.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Carpenter RIDGID VS MILWAUKEE
I bought this product to replace an old Milwaukee thinking the lifetime warranty would be worth the possible decline in performance. I was wrong. To sum up everything i would simply say this Ridgid set is a great home owner grade product, definitely not professional grade. I used this set for several weeks and it just seemed inadequate. Although, I did love the little radio. I then bought a Milwaukee impact combo kit so I could directly compare the two. Summary.... Milwaukee ran in more screws and lag bolts per battery and it also ran them in much faster. When you combine that with the fact that the Milwaukee battery charges in 30 min compared to 60 min for the Ridgid there is a big difference in work that can get done!
