Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Alex Customer service lacking.
I liked the driver but had concerns about the lifetime service agreement. Tools will sit in a warehouse waiting for repairs for months at a time. I experienced this first hand. I called LSA customer service and was promptly treated with rude treatment. I told her I would be returning the item to which she replied "you can do that". So I did. I bought an entirely new drill and driver set with a 5 year warranty versus lifetime but with much better service. Done with ridgid.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bob The Very Best Tool That I Own!
Paul the Tool man at my favorite Home Depot in Urbandale recommended this impact driver to me and I am very glad that he did. This driver will drive any screw that you have into any wood with ease. Minimal pressure is required to drive even a Philips head screw into any wood. No stripping of the screw head, no muss or fuss. This thing drives the screw in seconds. The battery will out last me every day. I just recharge it after I quit for the day and It is ready to go inside of an hour. Also, the driver came with a hook mounted on the side of the unit that will hang the driver onto your tool belt or pocket allowing your hands free for whatever. Last but not least is the lifetime warranty. Just make sure that you follow the simple registering process.
Buy this impact driver and be glad that you did!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ed Excellent Product 1st choice to replace my old Sears Tools
Drill was so easy to use...Once Battery was fully charged, I used it for so many hours over several days before it had to be re-charged. Excellent!!!
I am a very happy customer and went out on the internet and purchased a combo kit from the factory because the combo kit was not available at that time for purchasing it through Home Depot.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Chris Very Poor Quality, Performance, and Value
First day I could tell the impact was junk. It was making a lot of noise just running without driving any screws. The chuck was wobbling really badly and was clearly cheaply made. An hour into use it was knocked off a small ladder and fell onto plywood. Case got cracked and battery fell out and no longer fit well.
This impact advertises a 1750 ft lbs of torque.... After comparing it to a bosch IDH-182 it was obvious that that was a complete lie. The Bosch was at least 4X faster at driving lags and only advertises a little over 1600 ft lbs. I am not sure who ridgid is getting to make their tools but the quality and quality control is very poor.
The flat out worst thing about this drill is how loud it is. When driving screws it is literally deafening. I can hardly stand using this impact. I found myself holding my head as far away from it as possible to not damage my ears as it was impacting. I am not exaggerating at all. Just stupid loud.
