Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thortroba Add on to a well used tool
I bought this to add on to the basic tool I had purchased 2 years ago. I use the saw attachment to cut precision marks from drywall. This tool is sturdy, hard working, and the absolute go to tool in my home restoration business. The driver head attachment works great and was well worth the money.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by chris Great tool
I got this for small jobs to be portable and still do a professional job and coupled with the other interchangeable heads it is awesome. Dont expect the strength of a stand alone tool and expect to go a little slower it shouldn't be put in a bind but you can carry six different tools to a job with the weight of about two skill saws. Use this for tight spaces only it will work anywhere but a normal driver is more comfortable. This thing has plenty of torque and a quick change head (like other drivers) not a whole lot else can be said it does what it is supposed to do and I like it a lot.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rebecca tools for the pro but priced for the DIY
I started buying Ridged tools about 3 months ago. So far it been standing up to everything I put it thru. The warranty is a pain in the (you know what). But if it works like they advertise then it will be worth it.
The jobmax is one of my used tool. The impact drive is great for tight spots I can't get into with my Ridged 1/2 drill/driver. The impact only engages when pressure is applied to the head when needed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Danangdoc Good function in very portable tool
I'm an electrical contractor and, for some jobs, I needed the multi-tool portability of the JobMax line so I gave this a try.
Out of the box, connected to my corded base, I drove standard 3" coated deck screws into a dry 2x4 cross grain (1 1/2") and then end grain (3") . Easy, fast, bogged down only very slightly, at the very end, in end grain.
Appears to be a well made. Hefty. Overbuilt slightly, perhaps, but that's good.
Durability to be determined. Stay tuned.

As a Design Engineer considering the numbers of gears inside the head, I do believe the product can be Designed with similar of higher torque output with similar strength and shorter length.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Charles Very handy but found it to have limited life
bought to drive Simpson Strong Tie fasteners primarily; #10, 2 1/2" and the shorter one. Drives them with authority, but tonight, it gave up the ghost. I've driven fewer than 500 fasteners with this thing, am disappointed in longevity of the tool. Will have to say some of the work was in 50 year old yellow pine; harder than today's stuff, but still, that seems a bit on the wussy side to me. Still...will replace, it is just too handy to use.
