This sprayer is great. I always had to pump my sprayer every few minuets and got uneven coverage because of having to do it but with this sprayer I always get an even coverage and I can go and go without having to stop and pump. This is great and should be sold in the store.

Gets the job done. I have 3 acres of mowing and trimming and have used this sprayer several times this summer. Plenty of power and spray.

This battery powered sprayer has been a real back saver in our fight on weeds.. the wand extends long enough so that you can stand upright and just walk along and spray..
we have recommended this product to our son, and we also plan on buying another for our own use.

This battery powered sprayer works like a charm. Can barely remember my old pump-for-pressure-every-two-minutes type sprayer. Wand extends x3 and is easily controlled. Highly recommend!

My last battery powered hand sprayer failed and it was time to shop for a new one. After several searches at stores, I went online and found just what I was looking for at Home Depot. I have a large yard and it sometimes takes hours to kill weeds in the garden and crushed granite sidewalk. A hand pump sprayer just won't cut the mustard.
This sprayer was affordable, large enough for big jobs, and was easy to operate. Delivery was a little slow from Home Depot online...took about a week site-to-store, but the product was worth the wait. I would highly recommend this battery powered sprayer and am pleased with the quality and price.

This battery-operated sprayer has a weak spray-stream, less that that of a quality hand-pump sprayer. The supplied batteries (an off-brand) only measured 1.4v on my DVM, so I replaced them with new Duracells (1.6+v). The stream was still very weak. The spray cone at finer settings lacked about 90 degrees covering a full circle. This sprayer would probably be OK for smaller and lower plants, but it doesn't have the power to do shrubs or small fruit trees (8ft to 10ft high).
I'm wondering if it would burn the pump out to rig it with a 7.5v power supply instead of the 6v battery pack. I might try that because the pump is so weak. If it does burn out, I haven't lost much.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by retiredfrompumping several features make this a very desirable sprayer
By far the best feature of this sprayer is the telescoping wand -- up to 35 inches -- long enough for the average guy to stand upright (rather than back-breakingly hunched over) to spray. Battery power is also a nice feature for those who have had enough of pumping. Another nice feature is the reverse switch that sucks the liquid out of the wand for easier cleanup. The battery powered pump also means that the tank is not pressurized, so you can loosen the filler cap without worry about spraying yourself with weed killer (or whatever you use it for). As of this writing it's also on sale at a price similar to the cheap pump sprayers.

I am a senior citizen living in a senior retirement park. I am proud of my home and the surrounding area but for many weeds. I have, for several years now, used a hand pumped sprayer to apply weed killer to those weeds. I found I was spending 2 to 3 times as much time pumping up the sprayer as I was in actually spraying weeds. Also, when the sprayer had to be refilled the top needed to be unscrewed to refill it. The compressed air inside the sprayer would of course escape, and often a mist of spray would escape with it, meaning I had to be careful that the escaping spray would not damage or kill nearby shrubbery. When I finished spraying the spray wand would often leak the weed killer onto the ground when in storage.
This battery operated sprayer removes those two concerns. There is no pressure inside the spray container. The electric pumps sucks the spray out, hence the refilling procedure does not include air-weed killer mist coming from the filler. I no longer have to be careful where I am when I refill the container. I no longer have to be concerned with the wand leaking when I put the sprayer into storage because the electric motor can be reversed with the flip of a switch and simply sucks any liquid in the wand back into the container.
This system is fast, efficient, and almost makes spraying weed fun.
