Product Overview

The RL Flo-Master 1 Gal. Heavy Duty Sprayer features a durable, translucent polyethylene tank for monitoring the liquid level. This unit also offers an adjustable nozzle for stream selection. • High-density polyethylene tank provides viewing of the fluid level
  • Reinforced, braided hose with a removable connection for easy assembly and cleaning

Customer Questions & Answers

Does this product come with an internal tube going into the actual sprayer container?

I am trying to build a pressure brake bleeder using this product. I am unable to get the brake fluid from the container into my brake system. I have seen the videos on how to build one and in the video there is a rigid tube going from where the actual sprayer nozzle connects and it extends down inside of the container where the fluid is. Does this model have this internal tube?

I would suggest a smaller unit than this one to construct a brake bleeder. You'd waste a lot of brake fluid using a 1-gallon spray unit. There are 1/2-gal. and 1/3-gal. units that would be better suited.

How far will the spray reach?

We need to spray the wood outside our house for carpenter bees up into the eaves on the second story, so need it to reach 20-25 feet.

Testing with Water, it initially shot about 12-15 feet horizontal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad for the price I almost didn't purchase this product because of the reviews. I'm glad I did. By far, the biggest fault with this sprayer isn't the sprayer itself but the lack of instructions. Once it is assembled properly, it's a great light-duty sprayer for the price. If I had one complaint about the sprayer itself it would be the pressure relief valve. If you turn it one way, it unscrews and comes of. If you turn it too far the other way, it doesn't work. You have to turn it just slightly until you hear air and then stop. I've used this sprayer 22-25 times and have been very pleased with it. It also comes apart for easy cleaning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worthless Junk The instructions are impossible to decipher--referencing pink hoses that don't exist (nothing in the box was pink). Leaks everywhere-- especially on the top of the tank. Want Roundup or insecticide dripping all over your hands and house-- then get this beauty. Spray is way too heavy and basically splashes liquid everywhere. I used all adjustments--mine has two settings-- fine mist (not useful for anything I've found yet) and garden hose (again, no known use). I wanted a better sprayer-- but this is the only one they had. I would have paid more for better quality. I knew by the graphics on the box that it would be junk. Here's a question for Home Depot: You see that half the people who reviewed this item found it to be of extremely low quality so why are you still selling it?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor instructions, No lubricant First instruction - insert pink siphon tube. There is no pink tube. Not hard to deduce that they meant the white siphon tube. Second instruction - lubricate the o-ring. There is no lubricant. If they wanted the o-ring lubricated, there should have been some plumbers grease or instructions as to what to use. If the instructions reflect the quality of the unit, I'll take it back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Need some mechanical ability A summary of some of the other comments. The instructions are not well written and are somewhat difficult to understand. The tube is not pink but is translucent. The tube on my purchase was about 1 inch to long and had to be shortened. The over center lock for the handle was too severe and I had to round off the plastic clip using a fingernail file to allow for the handle to pass over center without unscrewing the pump from the tank. No there was no grease to lubricate the o ring for insertion into the tank. That is what spit is for. Spit on the o ring and it will insert easily. I have now assembled and sprayed some weeds and the sprayer is working well with no leaks. I had earlier purchased the Home Depot HDX brand unit but had to take it back as it would not hold air in the tank and the nozzle could only be moved with pliers. This unit is of much better quality but it is unfortunate that the manufacturer does not present the product well.
