I bought this sprayer with the idea of it lasted the summer I would be happy. The sprayer was purchased on May 2 2015 and used the same day with no problems. The sprayer was cleaned up and stored inside. Exactly 2 weeks later May 16 2015 I got the sprayer out, filled it up with the same stuff I had used 2 weeks earlier, pumped it up about 25 times and started spraying. That's when things started going down hill. This thing would only spray out air, no liquid, and only spray for about 7 or 8 seconds. In this day and time you get what you pay for, you buy cheap, you get cheap. I did not read the reviews on this product before purchasing it which was a mistake on my part but a mistake that will not happen again.

After a year of ownership, the trigger will no longer operate. It is stuck in the on position. After taking it apart, I could see what a cheap piece of plastic it was. There's no fixing it, so it's going in the trash. What a waste.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Winston Simple inexpensive household sprayer
I wanted an inexpensive small sprayer that I could use for insect killing chemicals and weeds in the yard. This particular product filled that need. It works OK, but had to be broken in a bit before the handle would lock in the down position. It is fine for my needs and those with an average size yard of just under an acre or less. Being an elderly man, the 1 gallon size is not heavy to carry around and makes mixing rather easy.

The model that I have is the 1101P, which is an upgrade from this one as it is twice the money. I bought one from Home Depot and used it the first time and it was ok, rinsed it out completely and put it away. The next time I went to use it , would not work. It would not hold pressure. I took it back to Home Depot and they replaced it ,the same thing happened with this one. I have had sprayers like this for 5 to 10 years with no problems, but they were not flowmaster brand. Will never buy another Flowmaster product, they have an issue. I put this one in the garbage can.

I needed a small sprayer to use with bleach/water to clean outdoor items. I already have a 10 gallon electric model for spraying pesticides. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this very inexpensive sprayer. The handle for pressurizing is all plastic, so it's a bit more flimsy than other 2 gallon sprayers I've owned before. The tip on the sprayer is also plastic, where others tend to be brass. The good news is the tip won't corrode, the bad news is the spray isn't quite as fine as a brass tip, but very acceptable. It's ideal for home owner use. I paid less than $10. That's less than a set of seals and a new tip for an old sprayer. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another when this one wears out.

Don't waste your money... Didn't last one day. Stopped holding pressure spit and sputtered. Had to keep pumping up. Wouldn't recommend at all!!

Maybe it's luck of the draw with these but most reviews are either one star like mine or happy customers. I have gone through two, they do not last a summer and I do not use them that often. Bottom line, the pump action on each one failed so I was no longer able to build pressure. Am not going in for a third.
