Customer Questions & Answers

The axe head came off the axe. Is there a warranty/guarantee against breakage? We have had the axe for about 3 years.

Asked by: Dhennessey
There is no warranty because it is cheaply made......

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality This axe got a descent amount of use the first week I had it. By the end of that week I was having to tape the handle to keep the rubber grip from falling apart. Week two had the "cement" that held the head of the axe to the handle started chipping apart. Now were at the end of week 2 and that cement has completely chipped away....Returning the axe later today. Thinking about trying to find an old one at a flea market or something of that nature. Do to this being one of those occasions where "they don't make them like they used to" applies....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's a dud To be fair, I am 6 foot 210 pounds and grew up swinging sledges and axes on the farm. After one cord of elm there was a 8 inch crack running down the middle of the handle. The head broke off after another half cord. There is a band of fiberglass as big as my thumb running down the center of the handle, the rest is just soft overmolded plastic. It looked pretty in the store and felt ok in my hands but did not hold up at all. Made in India says more than I can ever write here regarding the poor quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke the First Day I never write reviews on products...but this one made me mad enough to do so. The head broke off within 2 hours of use. Don't waste your money, I thought $30 was over priced for an axe but this one took my $30 and ran off with it.
