Product Overview

The RadonAway GP Series radon fans, intended for use as a component of an active soil depressurization (ASD) system for reducing radon, provide versatility and a broad performance range focusing on drawing pressure in moderate to tight soils when less air movement is necessary. They are ideal for use when multiple suction points are necessary. The GP201 creates slightly higher pressures and lower air flow compared to the RadonAway XP series fans. A popular radon fan choice for more than 20 years, the GP201 fan is suitable for new construction and retrofit systems and for existing fan replacement. It can be mounted inside or outside on 3 in. or 4 in. Sch. 40 PVC pipe using 3 in. x 3 in. or 3 in. x 4 in. flexible couplings. NOTE: When installing an ASD system for radon reduction, any openings, major cracks and penetrations in the building slab or membrane must be sealed. Fan sizing for retrofit may require professional diagnostics and design.

GP201 Radon Fan is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Radon Fan Replacment Took 15 minutes to replace assuming easy access location. Screwdriver and a bit of wiring knowledge. Saved $200 from a service quote. Last fan lasted 14 years. I dated the outside with current date for future reference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install, working fine Had to replace an 8 year old (same model) radon fan that bit the dust. Was nice to see that they had not changed any dimensions on the fan; which made for an easy installation. Saved $250 by doing it myself versus having the radon company come out to do it. My fan is located at a corner of my garage attic, so the worst part was getting to it. Made a path across the joists with 2x6 and OSB scrap boards that I had laying around. Crawled on those to get to the fan so as not to break-through the drywall. Fan has been working for 3 weeks with manometer showing correct pressure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's just a fan. We had the same fan for 18 years. It was easy to install and connect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product works great. Extremely quiet. My house was built 7 years ago with the piping and electric outlet for a radon mitigation fan to be installed in the attic at a future time. The home inspection performed a month ago found elevated radon levels. The radonaway product fit the needs of my project and reduced the radon to an acceptable level and is extemely quiet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent service. The fan works as expected. Will check the Home Depot website for my next DIY project. I found this exact replacement for my old, burnt out fan on the HD website. It took less than 3 days to arrive. It was easy to install and worked as expected.
