PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Model # 23006-1

The RadonAway GP Series radon fans, intended for use as a component of an active soil depressurization (ASD) system for reducing radon, provide versatility and a broad performance range focusing on drawing pressure in moderate to tight soils when less air movement is necessary. They are ideal for use when multiple suction points are necessary. The GP301 creates slightly higher pressure than the RadonAway GP201 radon fan. The GP301 fan is suitable for new construction and retrofit systems and for existing fan replacement. It can be mounted inside or outside on 3 in. or 4 in. Sch. 40 PVC pipe using 3 in. x 3 in. or 3 in. x 4 in. flexible couplings. NOTE: When installing an ASD system for radon reduction, any openings, major cracks and penetrations in the building slab or membrane must be sealed. Fan sizing for retrofit may require professional diagnostics and design.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and Effective Installed this fan in the attic and there is a slight hum but otherwise very quiet. I ran 3 1/2 inch PVC from basement to the attic. There is dense clay with no gravel under the slab in the basement and I was very skeptical about how effective the draw would be but the radon levels in the basement dropped from 8-10 to less than 1. I've had it installed a little over one month. Overall very pleased with the product and the results. Instructions were very good and I didn't encounter any problems with the installation. There are several options for the type of fan needed for different applications so review the specifications to make sure the right fan is purchased for your situation. March 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great. Fast shipping! We purchased this Radon Fan to replace the old one that was worn out. Simple swap with the old GP301. No issues. The old one was ten years old and ran 24 hours a day the entire time. No complaints here! May 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Radon GP301 It arrived on time. Cant give it 5 stars till I install it and see how it works. It came without any issues or breaks. I'm satisfied so far. February 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Replacement pump Was replacing an existing radon pump. This was an exact replacement. Installed without a hitch. September 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Radon mitigation fan The product is well made. It is solid in construction and very quiet in use. It is easy to install in different applications. I especially like the fact it is made in America but not sure of the internal parts. June 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Radon Fan Fan is an exact fit. Installed and working perfectly. May 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install. Worked perfectly right out of the box. After methodically disconnecting the old fan and being surprised by a bird that flew out of the pipe, this was very easy to install and worked immediately. This replacement was a very simple DIY project. January 7, 2014
