Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality product, used in above-ground application. Can sustain minor damage without leakage After searching on the web and going to physical irrigation stores, I decided this product was the best price for our application. I had some minor trouble in the laying process, the tubing didn't lay straight enough for all of my emitters to end up facing the same direction. I've had the product for about a year, and it is still in the field. I did not notice any damage from rodents, nor from the sun. My advice is to test out fittings before buying them. I had a very difficult time finding the right fit -- other brands didn't fit snugly, I even went to other hardware stores and back to the irrigation store, to no avail. I ended up getting compression fittings by RainBird, which had to be ordered -- through Home Depot. They were available within 2 days. I should have done this in the beginning, as it would have saved much time and headache. As stated in the title, there were a couple of incidences of slight depressions to the tubing (beginning to place emitters in the wrong location/direction). These places did not leak, and are not noticeable. The plastic is rigid, and the RainBird emitter puncturer is a bit too weak/small. I recommend a handheld tool with a metal tip, especially if you are installing hundreds of emitters!
