Answer:
These are not what you want for a lawn, what the purpose of these are for Is a garden area, because the small stakes stick up with a small spray head and the tubing is above ground entwined throughout your plants. In other words the main head is hollow and takes the place of a sprinkler head on an existing system. Hope I explained this well enough.

Why does conversion Requir capping other heads on the zone

Why does conversion require capping other heads on the zone? I have 12 30 GPH (0.5 GPM) sprinklers on the zone, and want to convert a couple and use 5 GPH spot watering emitters. So I imagine the sprinklers and the conversion will need to be turned on for a similar amount of time. Is there any other reason, besides differences in watering time?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pressure regulator Pressure regulator is built-in, towards the top of the unit, per another review. The amount of water discharged is changed by the type of drip head you use. August 7, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by THIS ITEM DOES NOT PROVIDE AS ADVERTISED This conversion in a typical underground sprinkler system is impossible without a pressure reducer. This reducer would need to be installed on each unit or in the zone and requires cutting, re-working, etc. WHY IS THE PRESSURE REDUCER NOT IN THE UNIT??? It in no way can convert a typical system to a drip with whats in the box. Feel free to respond with any corrections. July 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good idea but; Good product however be advised that the emitters have to be installed in a certain direction or they won't work. The colored end has to go toward the outlet. The black end of the emitter has to go toward the pop-up (supply side). Evidently there must be a check valve in the emitters. This by the way is counter intuitive for me. I assumed that the end that has the orifice restriction would point to the outlet. Not true. There is no mention of this in any instructions. May 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy Conversion Kit to Save Water I replaced several spray sprinkler heads with these and it couldn't be easier. I did have to buy 1/2" risers for each one though. The spray heads I was replacing stuck 12" up above the ground so I bought some 2" long risers and teflon tape. I have since purchased two more kits. Way more tubing than we've needed so far. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 1800 Pop-Up to Drip 6-Emitter Drip Irrigation Conversion Kit The device is very easy to use and an inexpensive means to convert your system to a drip irrigation October 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by so simple to install and great pressure to different drip heads. I'm thoroughly impressed by the drip system sprinkle heads. they were easy to install, and are working great. I'm a home depot associate so I'm exempted from winning anything. I would like to ask if you can spot light this product in online videos and do it yourself work shops. I believe a lot of people are looking for a way to apply drip systems to there yard but get over whelmed by all the different option. This product is simple not scary and affective I bet others would like to know about this product. All the plants in picture are now on a drip system utilizing many different head like micro sprayer, bubblers and drip heads. June 4, 2013
