The Rain Bird Pop-Up to Micro Bubbler Conversion Kit contains all components needed to convert a pop-up sprinkler head to a water-saving drip system with six adjustable micro bubblers. Ideal for flower beds, shrubs and other closely spaced plants. This kit includes cut-to-length tubing and maximizes watering efficiency by hydrating the root zone and eliminating overspray.

  • Converts a Rain Bird 1800 series sprinkler head to a drip watering zone without digging
  • Can also be used to convert any ½ in. sprinkler riser to a micro bubbler watering system
  • Requires capping other heads on the same zone (1800CAPOFF for use with 1800 series spray heads)
  • The conversion head has a built-in pressure regulator and filter to provide proper flow to each tubing run
  • Includes 6 adjustable bubblers to customize flow for each plant
  • Delivers water directly to the root zone of plants for better health and watering savings up to 40%
  • Each Kit Contains: 6 port manifold, (1) 1800 series conversion head with filter and pressure regulator, 50 feet 1/4 in. distribution tubing, (6) staked micro bubblers to direct flow at each plant

Is it absolutely necessary to cap the other heads in the zone

In my case, my beds are large using several sprinkler heads. In some other areas, the zone combines heads that water the bed with heads that water the lawn.
