Researched 4" pop up irrigation heads, didn't want to go online since it was my first time replacing existing Nelson heads. I went with the Rain Bird reputation for good quality products, liked the adjustable nozzle to take out the guess work with the 15 heads I replaced.
I had about half of the 1800 series leaked, in between the nozzle seams, some didn't seat back on the top causing residual water to continue leaking out. Some of the heads didnât have a consistent stream but dripped on the edge when fully engaged. I called Rain Bird about my unfavorable experience.
The 1800 Professional series were very pricey compared to stretching out a couple more dollars for other high quality brands.

These struggle to pop up and spray water everywhere in the process. The pattern is difficult to adjust and the range/distance adjustment doesn't appear to work. Save yourself the trouble and buy the Hunter brand instead.

I'm in the same boat as the above review, these are more of a controlled water hemmorage. I am in the process of upgrading to a different brand of rotator nozzles, higher price, but they will pay for the difference in less than a year factoring in water usage.

These sprayers compliment the gear driven rotors filling in smaller or irregular shaped areas and walk ways.
