Product Overview

This professional grade anti-siphon valve replaces Rain Bird and other irrigation valves installed above ground with ¾ in. female threaded inlet and outlet. It can be used with any 24 volt AC irrigation timer. Its unique reverse-flow design helps prevent flooding in the event of internal diaphragm failure, keeping the valve closed and saving water. The Jar-Top bonnet quickly allows quick access to the diaphragm for easy maintenance. Anti-Siphon valves should always be installed at least 6" above the highest head on the valve line, and should never have another valve installed further down the line from the main valve. After installation and before startup, always the flush system of dirt and debris manually using the valve's external bleed screw.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stay Away I have used many sprinkler products over many years. Rainbird used to be a good product. No longer. I have had other brands of valves that lasted years and years. After a new install using these, they started failing withing a year and a half. I've also had issues with RB sprinkler heads. Rainbird brings new meaning to the phrase "built in obsolescence". Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Warning! I have sprinkler system install using all RAINBIRD product. In less than a week The system stops working. A week of not watering a grass caused my grass to dry out like a haystack. If I have known this product as NOT RELIABLE to work as it should... I coulda save $$$$$ and aggravation. DO NOT... I repeat, DO NOT use this product. July 23, 2016

Was not caught for over 25 days as I was away costing me $1,000 water bill. I will never use their junk products again & Home Depot should stop carrying them. February 21, 2013
