Can this pipe withstand 130 -140 degree temps

Asked by: Fixer
The maximum temperature of the water in this swing pipe is 110 degrees F. Since this is regularly buried underground it does not often approach that temperature.

Easy to install and seems like it should last longer than the thin walled irrigation pipe that I have used in the past. I needed a cap for the end of the run of pipe and was shown which one I should use by a sales associate. The end cap did not work in the thicker walled pipe. I ended up folding over the end of the pipe and placing a clamp on it. I don't know if Home Depot sells a cap for this thicker walled pipe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Stuff Tubing bends easy enough and hard to kink. Cuts easy with pruning shears. Try submerging tube in very hot water for a minute or 2 before trying to push in barbed fittings. This softens the hose and makes it much easier to work with. I boiled some water on the stove, then poured it into a mug that I brought outside to my work site. Just let it thoroughly cool before applying water pressure.
