I bought 2 of these and linked them together. I have a bad back and the hardest part was readjusting the downspout which my son did. It rained the first night and the next morning I couldn't wait to see how much water I had. The first barrel was full and the second one was about a foot from the top. It was just a normal rain and only for a few hours. If I had the room I'd get a couple more for all the flowers I planted. I have put some in empty containers for watering the indoor plants as well. Now I can't wait to see how much difference it makes in my water bill. These are the sturdiest I've found and make sure you put them where you want them because once the are full they are really heavy to move.

I have also wanted a rain barrel to help save the rain water coming off my home. I finally purchased this barrel. The instructions were a little funny to follow and there was a slight tear in the screen but customer service sent out a new part immediately and the barrel was ready to go. Since my garden plants love rain water over tap water, I will not only be saving money but my plants will love me as well.

Wehave already purchased four barrels for use as emergency water storage and are awaiting delivery on a fifth barrel. We have a small home with probably less than 100 feet of vinyl guttering. One half inch rain last week filled all four barrels! As stated, we bough these primarily for water storage but are using the water to water our garden vegetables having heard that rainwater is superior to treated tap water. We

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BonnieS Excellent quality, Highly recommended.
The removable top screen makes cleaning of the barrel very easy. The out spout nicely fits to a standard water hose, no special waterhose or connection needed. One negative is the tubing that connects to the overflow spout and is also provided to connect two barrels together is too flemsy. My husband constructed a better overflow tubing with pvc pipe.

This product is made of high quality plastic. It receives the rain run off from my roof that does not have gutters. The removable screening on top of the opening is durable and last for years. I purchased this same product 5 years ago and have not had to make any repairs to it.
It has helped greatly with watering the garden near its location along with erosion prevention of the soil near the house.

Great product, arrived as scheduled, very easy to set up. I set barrel in place the evening I received it and it rained that night, so I was able to save on my water bill right away. I would recommend to a friend. I would be nice if some type of air pressure could be hooked up to pump to spray water through a garden hose for areas further from the barrel.

this is a 45 gallon rain barrel as the paperwork from the company states. First rain after set-up was 1/2" and it filled the back barrel to overflowing. The front barrel was carried off in a gust of wind and had to be retrieved from my neighbors yard. It didn't suffer any damage so they are pretty tough. I will be ordering 2 more to set them up in tandem. Wish it came in a tan or beige.

We recd the barrel shortly after placing the order. Despite the fact that there were missing parts including the hose which are on back order, we manage to install it due to on coming rain and were able to fill half the barrel. The next day it rained again and the barrel was over flowing, will consider a second purchase as the plants are loving the rain water and we are saving $$$.
