Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by alibi1sc water stand caves under weight of water!
Purchased 3 of these to lift up the 3 rain barrels I bought so that I could use the spigot to fill a small bucket. However, after winter rains, which filled the 50 gallon barrels, all three of the stands caved in under the weight of the water. The "inside curve" of the stand where the bucket can be placed, apparently, has a thinner wall thickness and that is where all three stands collapsed.
These stands are useless--do NOT buy them!!

This base has two indentations on the top that collect water that will stagnate.
Should have been designed better so the indentations had drain channels.
Hard to move a full rain barrel just to dump water collected in the base indentations.
Decided to keep the rain barrel on two cinder blocks instead

Stand does not fit the barrel it was paired with on the website. It does not allow the barrel to fit snug against the house without becoming unstable. Disappointed and will be returning item.

GOT TO HAVE THIS STANDS TO MAKE THE BARREL WORK,IF THE BARREL SITS ON THE FLOOR YOU WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE SPIGOT TO TAKE WATER,THE SPIGOT IS VEY LOW TO THE BOTTOM ,WITH THE STANDS ,IT WORKS PERFECT,YES IT IS AN EXTRA EXCPENCE,ONE COULD MAKE A STAND OUT OF WOOD OR SIMILAR,IT WOULD HAVE TO BE VERY STRONG BECAUSE OF THE WATER WEIGHT, THE STANDS ARE NICE !
