This is one of those products that demonstrates American innovation. I needed an alternative to a traditional gutter for my deck. Gutters require a lot of parts. Contractors wanted too much money to install them. So, to avoid my having to work from a ladder that I do not have AND transport 10 ft sections of gutters and downspouts in a small car, I went with Rainhandler. It is available in brown whereas brown gutters are a special order. Installing the system was straightforward. I made angled wood spacers since my fascias were angled. The most difficult part was lining up the 4 sections so that they would meet. The entire installation was done from the deck, not on a ladder. It has been dispersing the rain well since installed. I am completely satisfied with my Rainhandler system.

Interesting substitute to gutters. Super easy to install. Hasn't rained yet so I can't say if they work.

I have a new patio cover, 14'x24' shed style with a gable in the center. It's all built atop a concrete foundation. The rain pours off on either side of the gable and splatters water 3 feet inside the patio and gets my furniture wet. I looked around and found these and thought I would give them a try.
I only needed 2 sections because the runoff is only about 4 feet wide on each side of the gable. I installed them last week and it rained today. I must say that they work extremely well and absolutely destroy the water stream and shoot the drops out about 3 feet from the roof line. There is about an 8" drop to the rainhandler so there's a little extra energy in my system.
If you have a similar situation with your patio cover, these are the fix.....promise.

I used these on my shed. So much easier and quicker than putting up a gutter. The rain had been just falling off the roof right next to the shed and, after years of this, I began to notice some water damage around the bottom. I put these on to spread out the water so it is not falling right next to the shed and keeping the bottom of the walls soaked.

Product came just as described. Website instructions and common sense made installation a breeze.
Louvers are sensitive to bending and I wish they were a little heavier guage for stability and looks only.
Overall I like the product, time will tell if they stand up to our harsh temperatures here on the prairies.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bohac It does everything that it is advertised to do.
It was raining after I had put them up and sure enough the rain was being pushed 2 to 3 feet away from the base of the house. The only suggestion I have for any potential buyer is to measure the drip edge (the distance from the fascia to the edge of the shingle) before you buy. If the the drip edge is less than an inch and a half or less then you will need to purchase their extenders.

Rainhandler is easy to install, instructions are straight forward, and it's a sleek look to a house instead of conventional gutters.
