Product Overview

Ralph Lauren presents a sleek, luminous finish that lends a shimmering richness to classic colors and introduces a timeless luxury to walls, trim and architectural elements throughout the home. This acrylic based formula is designed to produce elegant metallic effects. A hammered metal effect is achieved by using the unique Ralph Lauren Specialty Finish Sponge Roller. For a smooth, sleek appearance, Metallic can be sprayed. Because every hand has its own signature, for a consistent appearance throughout the room it is suggested that 1 person apply Metallic to all walls.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MOST INCREDIBLE PAINT COLOR EVER!!! <3 My favorite color is bronze and I have been looking for the right color and finish to take my bedroom from cool to fabulous---this paint does the trick! HOLY SMOKES this is gorgeous! Now there IS a downside to this paint...the video for Ralph Lauren paint metallics isnt exactly correct, which is where the negative reviews come in--they are expecting it to go JUST LIKE the video (and rightfully so.) BUT! If you are willing to get an extra gallon and a sea sponge roller, you WILL get luxury glam. We painted our wall as usual on first pass (trimmed out etc.) 1-2-3. While it didnt cover 100%, the immediate reaction was still WOW!! Waited an hour or two then REtrimmed...2nd coat then went on. OH yeah, deepening richness, highlights reflecting..hearts singing! Then waited an hour or two dry time, and finished up with the seasponge roller. If you could have picked my favorite color and finish from my head, this would have been it. Yes, its expensive as all get-out. Yes, it requires more paint coats. Do I care? No way! SOOOooooo glad I did this. Am planning the silver for my bathroom. And...and... and..and. June 24, 2015
