Great metallic paint - coverage is particularly good with this specialty paint, but need to prime first.

I am a diy guy. I've painted, stained, built bars and an outdoor kitchen. I have never been more frustrated with a project more than using this paint. It looks like a 5 yr old tried to paint. Don't use a brush cause it will streak. Don't roll over an already painted section, cause you guessed it, streak. I will be re-priming and going with a different paint brand. So disappointing.

I love these paints. I do not use them the normal way. Instead I stamp th on the wall which marbles the paint. It looks like multiple step faux application or wall paper and those who see it for the first time always say WOW!

This was a horrible experience. Three gallons into it and I have convinced my husband to wall paper. Do not attempt this!!!!!

Easy to Apply and looks great. I used it as an accent wall with diamond shapes. I thought because it has a slight texture I would not be able to get the diamond shape accent wall effect I was looking for but it is really nice great focal point. I am using this on my ceiling with stencils for my next project. I will keep you posted, on how that project turns out.

We went with the blue metallic "hammered " look. While it's pretty we couldn't get the hammered look because we have textured walls not smooth so it just dried flat, definitely metallic tho.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HomeDepotShopper Wonderful Paint!
The people that have reviewed this obviously did not look at videos on YouTube on how to apply Metallic Paint. metallic paint is supposed to be streaky and have texture that is the unique style of the way it is supposed to be applied. Applying this kind of paint is an extremely fast process, therefore you need to be ready and prepared before you start. Have your brush, roller, paint, walls taped ... Everything ready. Start by brushing the edge in a smal section make sure it is wet, quickly set it down get your roller and roll the paint on. Never straight up or down nor sided to side. A droopy V shape with lots of wrist action is best. Continue this process in sections. Remember always apply roller to a wet edge because yes the metallic will leave streaks and this helps them to blend with the edge. Remember... fast! This is key to a wonderful look. Do this with one coat and once more with a second coat all the time using the same roller, no sea sponge roller. The end result will be textured and designed with the roller marks. ...That IS metallic paint! That is the beauty of it too! If you want a completely solid metallic wall that won't be achieved I am sorry. But back to the paint, this is wonderful paint and ads wonderful life to walls and rooms. I love it for accent walls not all walls. Wonderful paint, I highly recommend!

I have never before written a review for anything but felt compelled to do so for this product. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. VERY disappointed, complete waste of time and money. Aweful, streaky outcome. Home Depot is great but should not even carry this product. Don't waste your time or money
