Four coats over a freshly primed wall. Shows every streak and roller mark. Wanted the smooth look, not the hammered, but will end up having to buy more paint and the sponge roller to try and salvage the investment. The paint chip is deceptive as a sales tool, there isn't the same sheen or texture, just a dull finish.

I purchased the paint. I purchased the correct roller. After 3 applications, it still left streaks. I now have to repaint my room. It's aggravating.

I had my powder room painted with this paint by a professional painter. He's had to come back 3 times to continue to put more layers on. It streaks and shows brush strokes. It looks like a paint job done by a beginner. I will have to top off with some other brand.

I purchased this product for a bathroom accent wall. First I painted the other three walls with a Behr satin faint lavender. The paint went on well over a flat white wall. After the paint dried, I went to the $60 accent. My first thought was the Home Depot department didn't know where to start with this product and obviously had no clue on its application. I was sold a tinted gallon of the product and then given a quart of metallic for the second coat. Also, I purchased the Ralph Lauren roller. I went to the web to find directions. I started with the first coat 18" squares. Even though this tint was much darker than the Behr paint, It was obvious that this was not going to be a two step process. I had to use three coats where I had to trim and two coats just to cover the wall. I then watched the video again to see how to apply the "second" coat, "4th". This is when I realized you are using the same paint and I was sold the quart for no reason. I was also concerned about an additional sponge being used in the video. When I opened the roller sponge, inside the roller was a small extra sponge. This was actually the easiest part of the installation. Rolling the sponge and going over the trim areas with the small sponge. The final product looks just like the sales pictures. A total of 7 hours to complete a wall 6ft X 9ft.

I am a diy guy. I've painted, stained, built bars and an outdoor kitchen. I have never been more frustrated with a project more than using this paint. It looks like a 5 yr old tried to paint. Don't use a brush cause it will streak. Don't roll over an already painted section, cause you guessed it, streak. I will be re-priming and going with a different paint brand. So disappointing.

Great metallic paint - coverage is particularly good with this specialty paint, but need to prime first.

Easy to Apply and looks great. I used it as an accent wall with diamond shapes. I thought because it has a slight texture I would not be able to get the diamond shape accent wall effect I was looking for but it is really nice great focal point. I am using this on my ceiling with stencils for my next project. I will keep you posted, on how that project turns out.

I love these paints. I do not use them the normal way. Instead I stamp th on the wall which marbles the paint. It looks like multiple step faux application or wall paper and those who see it for the first time always say WOW!
