I hated that this one showed up DOA, and it was missing parts so I had to wait to find out that it was dead. The box arrived and after putting most of it together, noticed that a lot of the air portion was missing, I contacted the OEM and they shipped it, but by ground, so it took a while. The first box arrived and they had shipped the wrong parts. Another call, another wait. Finally put it all together, and it blew my shops main breaker. Any time I plugged it in, bye bye breaker. So, I took it back to my local store and ordered one from another source. Now, I'll never use a torch again. Plasma kicks butt.

Purchased this summer of 2013 and waited to write the review as to really test it.
I found the unit easy to set up and use. I mounted the air regulator portion on the bottom of my MIG welder cart and the plasma cutter lives on the bottom shelf. I have used it to salvage an old VW beetle chassis and have also used it to cuts holes in a front end loader bucket for a friend. I have cut various thicknesses of steel with no problems. I recommend setting it up for 220v operation. I only used it on 110V when at my friends place to cut the holes in the loader bucket. It worked but not as well. 220v is the way to go. I purchased more supplies Jets and tips from Amazon for about $30. So far after about 20 months of use I am very happy. I'm not a commercial user just a hobby user. Worth the price.

After reading the previous reviews I was hesitant to buy the 50 amp machine, but did. When I received it I found a small plastic bag with a tear in it and parts scattered in the box, but it turned out I found everything. I read the manual completely, assembled as instructed, got a plug for my 110 v usage, adapted my compressor to attach to the plasma cutters gauge, turned it on, set the air and power to what I wanted to try and it worked with the first try. Either Ramsond is doing a better job of packing, or the other revisers put something together wrong. I played with my unit for a couple hours to get used to air and power and had no problems at all. I had friends try it also and loved it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve Looks to be pretty solid unit
Purchased ramsond plasma cutter for home project use. Despite some mixed reviews, I decided to give it a try. Packaging was good and no missing parts or damage. Unless you want to count a stripped cover panel screw. Was not an issue far as I'm concerned. Put it together and have it a test run and works good. Haven't got to put any real work to it yet but I'm sure it will perform as expected. The only issue I see for myself is the small button on the gun itself, little difficult to press with heavy gloves on
